The last three times I have stopped here, I have been unable to pay at the pump, which is BS, since paying inside is a slow and painful process and you have to put a set amount on the card as opposed to filling the tank. Will not be stopping again- even though I have a Circle K card and prior to May, I would have given it a 4 or 5. Half the pumps have yellow bags on them and this is a relatively new gas station. I'm giving this gas station one star because at least the inside is nice. But I'm not going to a gas station because the interior is modern and up to date, I'm going TO GET GAS. If someone is using the pump on the other side, be ready to pump your gas for more than 10 minutes. I went today and first pump? Broken. Second pump? Broken. 3rd pump? Surprise, broken. There were like two other ones that had the yellow trash bags around the handle so those were broken. There's one guy filling up 100 gas cans. Doesn't matter because the one on the other side? My #1 Comment to say after a 30 minute special invite is: "Thank You Circle K for opening up in Shelby Township, Michigan." What a Convenience Store & Gas Center "Awesome" set up, plus an organized layout inside! "Watch Out 7-11"... This is my "Pre - Review" which any Yelper is entitled to as myself to Help other Yelp friends get ready for a Future Grand Opening at this business with My preview comments ! Certainly it's about time for a competitive gasoline business in this area plus much more. Inside here is for one's travel stops, day and night with snacks, many sweet hunger cravings, weekend partygoers, made to order cooked food along with fresh ground bean hot coffee or other cool assorted beverages for a fast fix! Thank you Shawn Dunbar, Market Manager for giving me a walk through tour with details. Also, for allowing me to take photos (attached). His wonderful personality showed while in conversation here at the new Circle K, gas and convenience store. Even though this location is not open yet to the public, I was thrilled and excited to be invited by Shawn from Akron Ohio based on my phone call of curiosity 2 weeks ago. This location has so much to offer on a Busy corner of 22 Mile Road at Van Dyke. Walking in to view up front is an area for newspapers, household cleaning section, Automotive, Pet supplies, Sunglasses or miscellaneous items. There are high top table and chairs seating area by the window with free Wi-Fi for your Extra time? You can enjoy a fresh hot breakfast sandwich and a hot beverage or stop in for lunch too. Make a stop on the way home for a delicious, fresh not frozen pizza as well. Lottery machine, prepaid gift cards, credit cards ex. Visa up front by registers. My photos attached has Departments of every kind upon walking in to the left. I throughly enjoyed my escorted walk around the store while I was taking notes and photos. Shawn gave me detailed information and the history of Circle K. If you are not in a hurry or need to wait for your customized pizza to be created hot and fresh in back kitchen, then take in the bright views and many self serve departments here. I am very happy and looking forward to stopping at this new location in the months to come, especially Summer time when I drive in this area for low competitive gas prices and my cravings of snacks and beverages as well. Absolutely garbage treatment.. most of the pumps card readers do not work. Don't even bother going inside it'll take forever. One person at the cash register while two other employees just walk around the store aimlessly. Not to mention they are $.30 higher per gallon than everywhere else. read more

Only giving 2 stars because they have food, very occasionally, that tastes okay; and you can get gas when the pumps are actually working. Otherwise this is one of the worst gas stations you could go to. The customer service is non existent and the managers don't care in the slightest. You will stand around waiting for the stupid AR self checkout to work properly meanwhile all of the employees stand around twiddling their thumbs. If they wanted to use those self checkout things at least make sure they operate smoothly. Nobody asks how you're doing or they don't tell you to have a nice day when you leave. I've been here quite a few times now, at different time throughout the day, on both the weekday and weekends. I think I can give an accurate review of this, as opposed to the one review who came here BEFORE it was even operational. Any place of business, before an opening can be a 5 star place. It's clean, the shelves are stocked, everything appears tip top and perfect. But a real review only comes when you visit a place once it actually open and servicing its customers. Again, I've been here quiet a few times, at different times and different days of the week. And my review, it's definitely 3 stars. It's a gas station/convenient store located at the corner of 22 Mile Rd and Van Dyke. As of my last visit, their current gas prices are way below anyone else in the area. Why is that, I questioned myself. Is it to lure new customers in? Or is their gas that crappy that it will wreck my truck?? I've yet to research their gas, but I will tell you that I took advantage of their low price last week when I needed to fill up the Party Bus. The inside of the convenient is very large, almost overwhelming large. They carry wine and beer, and even have a large beer cool. I didn't not check their prices because I find that Kroger's has the lowest price on these items, if I'm purchasing them. They have plenty of hot food items for a quick bite and/or lunch. They even have a few high top seats to sit and eat at, for those who don't like to eat in their cars, or on the go. They have their version of frozen drinks and actually have quite a few flavors but sadly every time I've gone, less than half are working! And the pop and frozen drink area- OMGOSH- GROSS!!! It's always a disaster. Syrup and spills all over the floor and counter. Straw wrappers and lids littering the counter and floors. It was so dirty on one visit that I had to warn my kids to stay back, far away while I tired to fill drinks between the land mines of puddles on the floor. The coffee area is large offers a lot of options, even a $1 coffee deal on Mondays. My problem with this place is they don't offer any kind of reward program for purchasing drinks. 7-11 does a "Buy 6 get your 7th free", and McDs does a "Buy 5 get your 6th free". Circle K does not offer a promotion like that on their self service beverages, instead they reward with a point system that isn't even good. If I'm purchasing a coffee a day, and now that we're coming into warmer weather, lots of frozen drinks- Damn it- I deserve to be rewarded for the many purchases made. This is one of the reason I will not go out of my way to come here. Also, on 2 occasions, I've asked the price of something and multiple employees didn't know. Nor did anyone care to check for me, they simply replied with a "I don't know", and continued to do what they were doing. I've also tried purchasing sale items on 2 occasions and they were sold out, and not 1 employees knew if it when they were getting more in. I realize it's a new place and it will have bugs, but it's not for me. I'll stick with my clean and rewarding 7-11 or McDs for my coffee and frozen drinks. read more

Tried to get gas at the pump wouldn't take my credit card, pressed the help button no one answered, went in side asked if pump worked was told not for credit needed to use credit inside ok, asked why they didn't have a sign on pump was told to calm down and take a deep breath. Ok I wanted to fill up nope have to give amount so I guessed at how much I needed. Paid and was told in a very snide way have a nice day so I said you to weirdo and walked out. I get to my vehicle and the pump won't work, next thing I know a young lady claiming to be the manager says I can't have any gas and if I go back in the store she will call the police on me. Not sure if I was charged on my card or not! I may not be the perfect customer, however considering the Frustrating circumstances Rude demeanor and all round crummy service how do they expect Customers to react. read more

Service is horrible and the manager with the dirty ponytail is the rudest person I've ever encountered. The sales prices are never honored. The registers are always closed. The staff is visibly angry if you ask for assistance. I will definitely be contacting corporate. I have video of the unbelievably bad customer service. Get it together! read more

I stopped by the Circle K and spoke to one of the cashiers. She was the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. She was probably in her mid-50s with purple hair. I tried to explain to her that the self-checkouts were not working and she literally said she didn't give a f@$k and If I did not like it I could get out of the store, as a business owner for over 40 years, for the life of me I don't understand why anyone would even consider hiring an employee as disrespectful as she is. This is literally the first bad review I have ever given any business, but in this case, it is definitely well deserved. read more

Older woman there with brown hair in a ponytail thinks it's ok to be rude and argumentative to customers and use the excuse that she doesn't feel good. Stated to me customers are not always right but it's okay for her to be rude, inattentive and insult customers. Dealt with the woman before, always been nice...maybe her boss should give her some time off to FEEL better instead of allowing her to insult paying customers! read more

I just waited in line 17 minutes to pay for my slurpee. If I hadn't already drank it I would of walked out. There were 2 cashiers but only 1 register open. I swear at one point there were 20 people in line and the other cashier still didn't not help anyone. There gas is cheap here but the store is dirty and service is horrible. I will not return. read more

Not so sure about this store now. Yesterday I checked the price online before I left home. It was $2.49. I get there and it's $2.85. I figure they are usually cheaper, so the price went up. NOT SO! Valero was $2.59. Today they are showing $2.50. HUH! If I drive by and they're cheap I shall stop. Otherwise, not very trustworthy. read more
