I will say the gyro is fantastic and they don't skip out on the veggies and sauce. It all comes on a pita which I don't really prefer for a gyro. I think a naan that is a bit thicker would be a perfect fit for this gyro. Besides that, I really like the reuben too. It's stacked high and comes with a nice toasted marble rye (I love a marbled rye!). Recently, I have been getting the gyro salad and I just love that there is a mountain of veggies AND a good amount of the gyro meat. The folks working there are always kind, the food is consistent and they are fast and clean.

I haven't had any of their other sandwiches but I've had their gyro a few times over the years and I like it a lot. I remember the Riverfront Times article years ago saying how it's the best gyro in town as well so I had to try it back then and I think it was a little better years ago than it is today however it's still a good deal price wise with the gyro being pretty filling with a drink and bag of chips. Just know it is a takeout place only since there's nowhere to sit and eat inside and so its good for a picnic in the car or nearby park if you're hungry and can't wait until your all the way home and want to eat it right away. The Fried Bologna and the special of the day, a Rare Roast Beef. Both sandwiches fully dressed. The bologna had fried onions which were a pleasant surprise since they are spicy. The roast beef was a perfect pink and delicious with hot horseradish. We also tried the Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice. I was looking around for hot sauce and didn't see any. After tasting the beans I was pleased to discover they were spicy enough. You order at the front counter and carry the slip to the kitchen counter. When I picked up the order one the cooks commented "good choices ". Definitely agree.

I went to the station, roughly a month ago, trying to fill my gas tank. The cashier (her name is Nicole), was on the phone, and chit-chatting with another person in the store. After a full three minutes, waiting for her to authorize my pump, I went in and asked if she would please authorize my pump. She said, in a VERY snippy and unpleasant tone, that she needed some indication that it NEEDED to be authorized. (the fact that I had pushed the button and had the nozzle IN my gas tank, probably wasn't "indication" enough.) I went back out to my car, and waited another two minutes. Finally, I went BACK into the store and tossed $20 onto the counter and said, "There. It's paid for. Now. Will you authorize the pump for $20" At which point, I was informed that she would NOT authorize the pump, because I had been "abusive" and that I might as well take my money back, because she was not going to sell me any gas. My husband has been treated very rudely by the staff, as well. This used to be a very nice place to go, chat with the cashiers, and do whatever business you needed to do. In the past year, however, the people on staff have changed almost completely, and they are rude. I wrote a complaint to the company, was was told that they were going to share my complaints with the station, but I have never heard anything. There are other places in the immediate area. Don't subject yourself to this rude, unfriendly place.

This gas station is enormous and seriously has something for everyone in tow. Even our grumpy pre teen found something that he enjoyed here and when leaving admitted it was cool and glad we stopped! If you haven't tried the pizza here, definitely consider it as they have by the slice and whole pizza options and the pizzas are HUGE! We left with a 3 meat one and had to break it down to get it to fit in our fridge at home. Staff is extra friendly and ready to help, and the place is nice n clean and plenty of restrooms too ;)

Inside, the store has the usual convenience items: fountain soft drinks, grill foods, snacks and candies, liquor, and a small selection of pantry foods.
