Im pissed..so my next month, I ran out of my medication due to the fact that the pharmacist sent for pre-authorization to my insurance! it IS SELF PAY! I called the pharmacist and we discussed how i told them it was self pay and I'm out of my pills..SHE hung up on me. So I call the store and ask for the manager, a woman answered i believe her name started with a C and older woman. Yesterday I purchased a package of spring greens. The greens were wilted and had black slime…read morethroughout them. I looked at the date and it was June 26. Two weeks ago I bought a package of organic baby carrots. They were slimy and several were so spoiled that they were like jelly. I have had other issues of spoilage in the past. I just feel like I HAVE to leave a review of this Trader Joe's because I have received…read moreextraordinary customer service on multiple occasions when visiting. First - my roommate and I visited Trader Joe's right after moving to Portsmouth. The cashier looked at our IDs since we were buying wine, and when she found out that we had just moved to the area, she gave us a reusable bag as a welcome gift. We were so touched by this welcome and really appreciated the gesture as we had just arrived and were starting to settle in. Second, and most recently, my partner and I were picking up a couple of items on a Sunday night. We went to get in the checkout line and then remembered that we needed to grab one more thing. Just then, the bagging attendant told us "I'll open another lane for you guys" to which we responded that we needed to grab another thing. He told us it was not a problem and he'd be ready when we got back, and returned to bagging. We went, got our item, and upon our return to the checkout line, the attendant immediately opened up another lane. Although this may seem small, I was so appreciative that the attendant not only wanted to improve our experience initially, but cared enough to keep an eye on us while we picked up another item and opened up another lane for us as soon as we returned. I felt that it truly went above and beyond and I wish I remembered his name to give him a shoutout. I would be remiss if I concluded this review with no mention of the Trader Joe's food. Their frozen meals are amazing and all of their food is so high quality; I've never had a product that disappointed.

There is ample parking and the staff are friendly. Plenty of fresh produce, flowers, beverages, and frozen meal options. I personally prefer to go here than Hannaford.

This gas station has been here for many, many, many years. I can remember walking here as a child…read moreto buy my Mom cigarettes with a note in hand way back in the day, when that was allowed.....lol So as you can imagine this place has changed names/owners. The inside store itself has kinda always been the same with what it sells. Currently it has a Moe's counter where you can have a Moe's sub to order or grab one in the cooler that is already made if you don't have time to wait. There is also an Aroma Joe's coffee shop inside. No place to sit down & drink the coffee or eat your Moe's. No place outside either. Aroma Joe's does have a drive through for those who don't want to go inside. I remember this use to be a donut shop before. There is a bathroom outside of the store & you may have to go inside to get the key?? It's been years since I've used the bathroom here. This gas station can get very busy & isn't always the easiest to get into due to the busy traffic on Lafayette road. Gas pumps are easy to use. Pay @ the lump or inside. There's a good choice of scratch tickets & you can get your lottery tickets here too. Guess what?!?!? You can use your debit card or credit card to pay for these things now.....can be very dangerous for some & very convenient!! lol I don't recall seeing any gas station hot food or soda fountain inside & this may be due to having the coffee & sub shop. There's plenty of beverages, chips, snacks, sweets & some house hold items to choose from inside. I've even seen an ATM machine. It's a gas station, what can I say?? lol I met the manger on my last trip inside & he was very nice/friendly. Big smile on his face. There is an air filling station outside too but it was waiting for repair last few times I had stopped in to purchase my Powerball tickets & a Moe's. I do miss that it's not open 24hrs anymore. Closes around 11pm or midnight?? Not 100% sure on their hours......
