This review is not just a review about one experience although its about my experience on the night…read moreof July 26, 2026. It encompasses my overall view of all my experiences with this business. Let's start with the fact that I play the lottery on a regular basis most times I go here at night I dont know what level of service to expect because it seems to me they put people who are half way trained on the night shift If not that the attitudes are atrocious as if theyre being bothered to do their job. On this night as I do many nights I went to play my lottery tickets although not always at Murphys but its convenient. I hand the tickets I want to play to the cashier $10 total in tickets in the end one was missing but I'll get to that. She scans the tickets and then puts them aside as Im handing her the $10 in tickets which I won. How do I know its $10 in tickets that I won? I scanned them with the app and wrote the winning amount in the corner of the ticket. She proceeds to scan my winning tickets and in the end she tells me I won $10. Like I said, I already knew this because I scanned my tickets ahead of time. Keep following cause this where it goes of the rails and turns a 5-10min process into 30. She proceeds to count my winning tickets and inputs the total However the total is wrong it says I won $30 dollars so then she proceeds to subtract the tickets I bought which shouldve been $10 so $10 for $10 However she tells me she owes me some money and I forgot the dollar amount but I said, no you dont owe me any money it should be $10 for $10 This is where she gets confused She then proceeds to recount the tickets but gets my winning tickets mixed up with the tickets Im purchasing. Then she has to call someone because now shes got herself confused. Just when I think its all sorted out she tries to give me a ticket that wasnt one of my numbers because somehow the machine printed out the wrong number when she scanned my ticket. This has happened before same place. So now she closes the window again to recount the tickets and again gets my winning tickets mixed up with the tickets I purchased at this point its now 20 min since I arrived because she asked me to step aside so she could get her line down. Im standing there wondering why she doesnt match up the tickets that scanned with the tickets that printed. So in the end whoever she was on the phone with must have told her to just give me the tickets that printed minus the one that I didnt want because it wasnt my number. Even after all of this she still shorted me $1 of my winnings. So I had to again stand in line to tell her she owed me $1 with another three people in front of me. I reach the windows tell her she owes me $1 and she tells me I only won $9 and its at this point that I asked for her District Msnagers number and name. I leave short $1 and I call the number she gave me but if course nobody answers so I left a message and as of this review at 11am in the morning I still haven't gotten a reply. I know that was long but its the only way I could explain it. In the end this location is not a bad location. Its kept clean and the products are well stocked. Its just that it seems when it comes to their lottery the people at night are not trained and not able to problem solve. I dont even blame the cashier who helped me I blame whoever halfway trained her. However my rating is based on my overall experiences with this location the attitudes of the cashiers mainly at night and the fact that they've tried to give me the wrong lottery tickets before.
