Buc-ee's - Lime sparkling water

Buc-ee's

Buc-ee's has done it again! I grabbed both the brisket sandwich and the BBQ sandwich on my first…read morestop on this road trip, and they were on fire !! The brisket sandwich was loaded with thick, juicy slices of perfectly smoked brisket that was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of smoky bark. The bun held up without getting soggy, and the subtle sauce complemented the meat without overpowering it. The paper wrapping that the sandwich was in is now a different story. The wrapping itself does not hold up to the heat, the hot sauces and the fabulous sliced meat. The paper inside wrapping kinda fell apart on the sandwhich and i spent more time peeling pieces off the meats. Hands down though one of the best gas station briskets I've ever had. The BBQ sandwich was equally impressive -- sweet, tangy pulled pork (or chopped beef?) with a perfect balance of smoke and seasoning. It was messy in the best way possible, packed with flavor, and left me completely satisfied. For any road trip food, this is next-level. Fresh, hot, and way better than most BBQ joints I've tried. If you're at Buc-ee's, do yourself a favor and get both -- you won't regret it! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 would stop in again on my next drive through Texas/Mississippi/Florida & Alabama!

What do you get when you cross a gas station with Disney World? You get Buc-ee's. Actually, scratch…read morethat. You get the Disney World of gas stations... if Disney had 100 gas pumps, brisket carving stations, and a beaver mascot judging your snack choices. I pulled in thinking I'd grab a quick fill up and maybe a sad bag of chips. Rookie mistake. This place is the size of a small country. You don't "stop" at Buc-ee's. You commit to it. First off, the pumps. There are so many pumps you start wondering if they're preparing for the apocalypse. No waiting, no nonsense, just pull up and go. Then you walk inside and it hits you. This is not a convenience store. This is a full blown experience. It's like Walmart, a barbecue joint, and a souvenir shop had a very successful child. And then you hear it... "Fresh brisket on the board!" That's not an announcement. That's a call to action. The barbecue is legit. Not "good for a gas station" good. Just straight up good. The turkey sandwich is my go to, piled high and paired with those fresh cooked chips that disappear faster than your willpower. You walk in thinking snack. You walk out with a full meal and possibly a dessert you didn't plan on. Now let's talk about the walls. Not shelves. Walls. Wall of jerky. Wall of trail mix. Wall of fountain drinks. It's like they asked, "How much is too much?" and then doubled it. The store is spotless. And I mean spotless. The bathrooms deserve their own five star review. I've seen hotel bathrooms that should take notes. Then there's the gift shop. Because of course there is. T-shirts, hats, random stuff you didn't know you needed but suddenly can't live without. And somewhere in the middle of it all, a giant beaver mascot casually walking around like this is completely normal. Service is fast, friendly, and somehow still efficient despite the chaos of people wandering around in snack-induced awe. Great food. Great prices. Endless selection. More gas pumps than logic would suggest. Five stars all day. Honestly, if Buc-ee's started selling tickets, I'd consider a season pass.

Publix has quickly become my favorite place to shop. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive,…read moreand truly understands how to put the "C" in customer service. One experience that really stood out to me was when I went to pick up eggs and noticed that three separate cartons had broken eggs. I mentioned it to someone working in the dairy section, and he immediately stopped what he was doing to take care of it no hesitation, no delay. That kind of care and attentiveness really makes a difference. The store is always spotless, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which makes shopping such a pleasant experience. It's also the first grocery store I've ever seen with foam recycling, which shows they're making an effort toward sustainability too. I had never lived near a Publix before moving to Alabama just one brief visit while traveling. Coming from Arizona, I had no idea what I was missing. But now that I've experienced the cleanliness, quality, and exceptional service at Publix, I'm hooked. It's honestly one of the best grocery stores I've ever been to.

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you…read moreexperience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. This particular Publix is in a nice plaza and it is clean and has a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

It was medication for my daughter. When we got there they told us the medication was out of stock. My husband told the lady we called before we drove here and spoke to someone. She said no you didn't talk to anyone here. She was very rude and hateful. She had Short blonde hair. My husband called before we made the drive. We wasted 3 hours driving here on Christmas Eve. DO NOT come to this location.

TERRIBLE Customer service in the pharmacy at this particular Walgreens has really gone down hill…read more The pharmacy technician was less than helpful and made it obvious that she was not in the mood to help customers or focus on them when serving them. While they dress up in scrubs they are not licensed or trained pharmacists, nor entitled to behave as if they are better than the people on the customer side of the counter. While this particular visit was marked only by poor service and a terrible attitude, my last visit included a medication compatibility question left unanswered as the technician (Again NOT a pharmacist or MD, just playing dress up in scrubs) couldn't be bothered to get or ask the pharmacist and just shrugged her shoulders. That from one wearing "Trainer" not trainee - on her name badge. Continuation from my earlier visit today left on the previous survey... Went back in to get my 5 new to me prescriptions. Pharmacy technician was more helpful vs the terrrrrible experience earlier today. So I was handed 5 new to me medications - meaning I have never taken these before - without even an offer or suggestion for a consult with the pharmacist (The real person with a license and not a tech dressed in scrubs). I asked for one anyway and even the pharmacist acted annoyed to have to come speak to me. Now... Last time I checked we have 5 rights in medication - Right patient, right medication, right dose, right route, right time... Part of this is to protect the patient from possible medication reactions and interaction between medications.... So when did protecting the safety of patients become a secondary concern for Walgreens? In this case assuming the average patient will be able to read and fully understand the medication pamphlet and assess that to any other OTC medications or scripted meds they might be taking seems to be asking a lot.
