Parking lot usually has a taco food truck that's has lunch hours throughout the week. The inside has a tiny quick e mart. Like most gas station connivence stores it is a tad bit over priced at times. Overall good little spot. Centrally located which makes it easy to get in and out of without having to worry about traffic too much.

And the store manager doesn't give a fuck about her employees just about making her money. She is unprofessional when it comes to being a manager.

The 2nd store recently opened that sell all the alcohol you could ever want. It has a large…read moreselection to choose from and told they will be more added in the future. When you first walk in there is a large chair to get your picture taken in. This part is called Capstone and located at the far end from the gas and go store. The manager informed me that gas pumps nine and ten sales help support the Catholic School on Feganbush lane. They are still working to bring in food companies to fill up the middle spaces but nothing is final yet. The service is on point and find myself coming here often. They now have hot food in the stop and go side. Business has picked up and no doubt this will become a fixture once it is fully up and running.

I sometimes visit this Circle K because it's the closest provider of Shell Gasoline to my home…read more Believing the marketing material and reputation of Shell, I choose to fill up with this brand of gasoline if I'm not near an E85 pump. However THIS Circle K and it's Shell gasoline pumps really need to be torn down and completely renovated. It's sort of an eye sore for the Fern Creek area with it's old small parking lot and dirty building paint anyway. There are less than a dozen pumps and usually only a few normally functioning pumps. A lot of times you'll see the out of service sings on most of the pumps and even when you don't see those signs, there are times when it's taken 5 minutes for the pump to output just two measly gallons of gasoline to my vehicle. One time when I complained about this I was told by the Circle K attendant on duty " Oh yea, sometimes some of them do that. You just got to try another pump when it does that." Pretty common occurrence based on that reply I should have known yet I've tried my luck at several other pumps with the same thing happening. The inside of this Circle K is tiny but on the plus side stays well stocked up on all items.

This place is so weird. I tried to buy a gift card with a Visa credit card and was told I couldn't…read more"buy a gift card with a debit card." I explained it was a credit card and not a debit card (not that that should matter), and the bearded lady behind the counter just looked at me with a baffled expression. She reiterated that I couldn't buy the gift card. I asked why we couldn't just try it and see if the transaction would work, and her rationale to not try it was that she didn't want to lose her job. I have no idea how this information is relevant to the transaction and she had no explanation for why there was such a policy. All she seemed able to do was talk about her motivation for getting the job and how she was $2,000 away from being able to buy a new car, etc. She said that I could buy the $25 gift card if I would give her $2,000, also. I said I just wanted to buy the gift card. Her proposal was inappropriate and absurd. I then asked why they carried gift cards if they weren't willing to sell them, and she said they would sell them and I asked how people could buy them if not with a credit or debit card (which they accept for everything else in the store). She said people had to use cash to buy the cards. I can't for the life of me understand why a store would accept one form of payment for everything except one item, and carry only one item for which they only accept one form of payment. The employee directed me to the ATM in the store and said I could use my credit card to get cash and then use the cash to get the gift card. What? What difference does it make to get cash or a gift card with the credit card? Her logic was nonexistent and her only recourse of action was to offer to call the manager so that the manager could tell me the same thing (not to ask the manager if the policy was correct). I asked why that would make any difference to call the manager if she was sure of the policy and she irrelevantly reiterated that she wanted to keep her job. At this point I gave up on breaking through her anti-logic firewall and accepted that the opportunity cost of the time spent continuing arguing with her was more valuable than winning what was clearly at this point a matter of principle with no foreseeable acceptable resolution. It was time to cut my losses and let the bearded lady move on to intellectually raping the next unfortunate customer who happened to want to buy something with an ostensibly accepted form of payment. Out of sheer pity for her lack of intelligence, I sincerely hope that she can keep from being fired for gross incompetence long enough to earn the $2,000 so that she can buy a car and drive to a saloon to have that wicked mustache dealt with.
