"Kingsville Travel Center" a.k.a. "TA Kingsville" is a one-stop shop servicing all of your needs…read morewhen you're on a long road trip. There are a vast amount of these around the country and this one is on SR-193 and just a couple minutes of I-90 in the small community of Kingsville, OH. To give you an idea where this travel center is located, it is roughly an hour east of Cleveland and about 45 minutes west of Erie, PA. This place is geared primarily for long haul truckers that need a place to fuel up, rest, and purchase all the basic necessities. This means they carry regular unleaded gasoline but also several types of diesel fuel as well as DEF fluid for big-rigs/semi trucks. Some other perks of this place are that they have a dedicated basketball hoop area, pet area, arcade machines, laundry room, driver lounge for relaxing, free Wi-Fi, Amazon lockers, and a dedicated truck maintenance area. The only restaurant I saw here was Burger King (which is open from 8am-9pm seven days a week) but the actual travel center has all your basic food needs, similar to a convenient store. This includes hot/iced coffee, hot dogs, sandwiches, cold beverages, snacks, and candy. They also carry quite a bit of non-food items including oil, coolant, sunglasses, hats, maps, and everything you need to get you on your way. For many of us, convenience is everything With that said and done, I am giving the "TA Kingsville Travel Center" an above average four-star rating.

There was an older gentleman who would play my numbers with no problem. When I visited on 02/24/24, a younger person started to play my numbers. He seemed to have trouble understanding the numbers I was calling out. After playing 8.50 in numbers he told me I would have to fill out a lottery card because I was calling out too many numbers. I told him that by the time I filled the card out, daytime lottery would be closed. He proceeded to say he had customers waiting. There was 1 person walking up to the other counter. He said my customer who comes in everyday plays 100.00 in numbers. He left because it was late. The man behind the counter chased after him and came back and said to me lottery closed too late now. I said it's not 12:25 yet. He s was I'd closed, my customer left and I cancelled your numbers. Well wouldn't you know one of my num ers came in that day. I angrily left the store after letting him know that he could have told me before canceling. I went elsewhere and played numbers for the evening drawing. I feel that I basically experienced discrimination. That is exactly what it was. He didn't view me as a customer. His 100.00 customer was white, I am African American and the clerk I Indian. His customer who came in after me knew the cutoff time for playing if he plays every day. At no time did he speak so I don't blame him. It was the store clerk. If I didn't live so far. I would picket that store every day for a long time. Don't go to this place. America has probably made them wealthy and they don't even appreciate us as Americans who have helped them build a business. They need to learn how to treat everyone with respect and know this will not be tolerated
