BEWARE of overcharging at the register here…read more My intention was to write this review for The Boot, which is located inside the Sunoco Mini Mart, but now I'm directing this one star rating to this Sunoco. I decided to stop here for lunch so I could rate this place. The Boot food counter serves up pizza, pasta dinners, subs, and calzones. They offer whole pizza pies and self serve pizza slices from the heated carousel. You order your food at the food counter in back and pay for your order at the register at the front of the store. I picked up a Slice of Cheese Pizza (posted $1.65 plus tax) and ordered the Chicken Parm Dinner (posted $7.00 plus tax) served over pasta with bread. They ran out of spaghetti for the chicken parm and told me they were substituting cheese ravioli instead, which an upgrade and was fine by me. The ravioli was boiled in a small pot, layered with a sweet chunky tomato & onion sauce and topped with chicken cutlets (real chicken) & mozzarella cheese, then sent through the belt oven. The bread was 4 inches of a sub roll. The staff wrote down $7.56 on the chicken parm container, which I assumed the $0.56 was the 8% meals tax. I went up to the register to pay and the total came out to $10.16 with tax, a bit high but I paid for it since I was trying to get back to work. On the way back to work I did the following math in my head and I was overcharged by the guy at the register. The chicken parm ($7.56) already had the meals tax in the price, but charged me $7.56+$0.60=$8.16. The slice of cheese pizza was supposed to be $1.65+$0.13=$1.78, but he charged me $1.85+$0.15=$2.00 (price for a slice of pizza with one topping, but I had plain cheese). WTF??? This may sound petty, but it's all about the principle. The staff in the back at The Boot counter were friendly and the food was decent, standard chicken parm & ravioli (instead of spaghetti) and the thin slice of pizza was tough & chewy from sitting around in the carousel, 2.75 STARS for The Boot. But the register up front is a SCAM. Double meals taxation and overcharging, UNACCEPTABLE!!! Just wondering how many other customers may have been overcharged, and for how long??? I definitely will not return! SUGGESTION: If you like good pizza, subs, Italian food, and the aroma of Sunoco gas similar to here, then head over to the Clemenzas inside the Myles Travel Plaza in Auburn, where I've had great takeout meals and never been overcharged.

While the other review may be accurate, I am reviewing this place purely on the gas station aspect…read moreand much less on the store in itself. I was traveling home from Alton and needed gas so I stopped at this Sunoco, all of the other stations I saw on Hooksett Rd were either crowded or overpriced, this is one of the largest ones and wasn't too busy to get on my nerves. There is a store called "On The Move Pizza and Deli" with a ton of merchandise in a vast, open convenience store. Lots of snacks, candy and all the other stuff you'd find in any convenience store. They even have a full aisle of cleaning supplies. Since when do convenience stores sell laundry detergent? Seriously. They have a full lunch area with pizza, fried chicken, drinks, slushes and more, and a whole section of alcohol in the back of the store. Employees seem pretty friendly (or at least not rude) and keep the store tidy and updated. 24 pack of bottled water was an especially good value for $2.50. 4 stars for the Sunoco on Hooksett Road. I don't have any problem with this place.

This Nouria location on Hooksett Rd offers some of the most competitive gas prices in the area!…read moreFormerly Mega-X, this Nouria features Mobil gas with 8 fueling positions and a Dunkin' Donuts with Drive Thru. This Nouria convenience store and gas station is a convenient location to stop for Mobil gas, snacks, cold drinks, and Dunkin' Donuts. The layout of the convenience store is very cramped and parking lot around the gas pumps is very tight as well. I stop here on my commute for the very reasonably priced Mobil gas, which is usually slightly cheaper than the Allenstown Nouria up the road and much cheaper than other gas stations in the area. Nouria Rewards members save 5 cents per gallon, or more when you spend money inside Nouria. They also offer promotions on the Nouria Rewards app such as free bottled water and promotional items at this location. At other Nouria locations without Dunkin', they also offer free coffee to Nouria Rewards members. This location would've gotten 5 stars, only if the site and building were larger and easier to maneuver. The Nouria near my home is much larger and has a kitchen and an Amato's too, but much higher gas prices there.
