Came by this c-store by accident and it was very fortunate accident.
Found out that they have a kitchen that features BBQ, burgers, wings and pizza. This visit we opted for their 1 meat platter w/1side & 2 Meat Platter w/2 sides
Today's menu had brisket, sausage, pork ribs, ox tails, turkey wings (full), pulled pork & pigs feet- with their sides being:
cole slaw, okra/corn, yams, beans, green beans, mashed potatoes & collard greens
For our meal-
Plate #1:
We chose turkey wings and ox tails, okra/corn, collards & brisket w/green beans-
Ox tails were delicious and tender-I could've had a side of the broth they were cooked in all by itself, was so good & turkey wings had to served separately because they were that big and meaty (delicious to say the least)
Plate#2:
Brisket was on point-fork tender just could've used more bark but overall great taste
They currently (March 2020) running a special 5 wings for $2.99 & the wings are cooked to order and delicious. They're deep fried and then tossed-limited to four (usual suspects) sauces but what they have is good enough(at that price we got 2 orders)
We most definitely come back and try "Mr. Anthony's" other menu options and I am curious to taste their burgers...
