The gas was a tad expensive for me as I was not a points member of Phillips 66 but when you need gas, you need gas. I found this store/station to be especially clean and well organized. The pump areas were spacious, numerous and easy to understand. The convenience store itself was well stocked with snacks and drinks. There was even a McDonald's attached to the building. The people of SW Jefferson County have a jewel in this location.

I decided to just walk away and went to my car and went across the street to the other gas station and there I had way better customer service experience and was greeted with a hello and a smile.. this guy has been working here for a long time and seems to not really give a damn about customer service, I feel like he should be replaced. He has told me in the past that they have a hard time holding onto people and I feel like he is burned out and possibly needs to look elsewhere for employment saying he's so miserable and he's passing that onto the customers without any hesitation. I truly would like to know what my friend and I did to get nasty looks and scolded for simply asking for 2 lottery tickets and $20 of gas. I understand gas stations aren't supposed to be super welcoming or anything, but if i were like a mom with kids or something coming into what I just experienced, I would be horrified. I'm a young woman who doesn't tend to judge, but if you're gonna make me feel bad for trying to buy gas and get lottery tickets and that's literally your job, you shouldn't be in that job.
