Who would think that a simple under $3 bean, cheese, and green chile burrito could be so good! If you know green chile, you can tell that the chile they use is freshly roasted and not from frozen. It makes a difference and very few restaurants do this. Thinking about buying some of these, taking them home and smothering with some red and topping with some cheese. I digress. Can't wait to try their green chile stew, posole and menudo. $11.98 for 32 ounces! Menudo, Wednesday through Sunday. Posole, everyday. Green chile stew, Monday and Tuesday. Restaurant quality without the fuss. Wish it was closer but well worth the 20 minute drive.

They are nice even on The Manager's days off. I was in this store this morning. A day off for The Manager. There was ONE woman employee at the checkout. She is working a double shift. She was SO nice -- and kinda funny. LOLOLOL If you want food, besides coffee, the Biscuit and Gravy is cheap and out of this world. I'll buy at least one -- and probably two -- once a week for a LONG time. In this day and age where everyone -- employees and customers everywhere -- are so grouchy and rude, this great place is just such a great oasis in the desert. I wish I could move in! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

The location does get busy though so I guess it's best to go during off peak hours (whatever they are). Overall great gas station that I will probably visit more often. Usually I go to the one on Carlisle since it's along my way but I figured I was in the area so might as well give it a go. It did not disappoint! Plus they had gas at $1.56! Well for starters, it's more like a smiths gas station. Convenient, simple, small, and straightforward. The location I previously mentioned had a full convenient store with a large variety of snacks, novelties, useful items, beer, sodas, milk, tea, you name it they probably had it. They even multiple full fountain beverage stations and even slushy stations. They had much more pumps outside to use as well. I wish this location would get that upgrade because they are my main go to! It would be nice to get a fountain beverage every once in awhile. The location is perfect because of how convenient it is for me on my daily commute from work to home and everything in between. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Before I even mentioned my pump number (I pay for my gas with cash), the gentleman said it for me! He knew exactly where I was! It was very impressive but also a small disappointment for me considering I'd not only kept turning my head back to look at the pump number at least a couple dozen times as I walked to the register and repeatedly rehearsed the pump number in my head a million times before I got there so I wouldn't forget and embarrass myself lol

This station is not like that. What makes this station is: Location - It's right off Coal & Yale. Easy in, Easy out. Right next to the most interesting Smith's store in the ABQ. Type - It's a Smith's so you can use the points you just earned w/ your Smith's card for cents off on gas. WINDOW GUYS - Yes, window guys. At most stations you have to get out, pump and wash your own windows. At this station you can pump and have one of the local inhabitants wash them for you for cheap. (Or a tad more if you can spare it.) I can't say with any certainty that they are homeless, but it's not a stretch that they can use the dollars they earn here. I love that they are not just panhandling, but earning their keep! I'll give five stars as long as the owners keep 'em around!
