Régulièrement le cinéma propose une sélection d'oeuvres consacrées à un pays dans le cadre de découverte de cinémas d'ailleurs. Outre une programmation généraliste, une part belle est faite au jeune public avec des films nouveaux et anciens, des courts-métrages d'animation... Et pourquoi pas aussi admirer les tableaux présentés lors d'expositions temporaires !

They also tend to show very good short film programs and have a nice space for fancy but packed cocktail parties. I was lucky enough to see von Trier's Melancholia here on a hot sunny afternoon of 2011. Stumbling out, stunned and dazed from witnessing the end of the world on the Max Linder's astonishing screen, I found myself in a Paris with the black skies of an orage d'été and was not completely sure where the film ended and reality began.

Okaaaaay guys we have something here: a small, independant cinema (i.e. only 6€ if you're a…read morestudent, even Saturday night), which for once doesn't feel obliged to show only 5-hour-long Romanian documentaries without subtitles! It even does previews of international blockbusters. AND you have an old-fashioned popcorn machine and sweets at the entrance. AND the seats are super comfy. AND since you're not in a (real) city, you can park easily for free. I think I'll stop there because you've stopped reading already, but: GO THERE.
