Fantastic secondhand / vintage store and oh boy, better allow yourself extra time to go through…read moreboth of these shops (they're next to each other) and explore - here you'll find sooooo many different clothes, shoes, bags, hats, accessoires, and much more from different decades of the 1900s. It's a total mix! Prices are good, more than reasonable actually and if you look closely, you can find some designer pieces. I do have to say, the clothes are in good condition - but it's not the best-of-the-best. Friendly service, soooooo many items to choose from and I fell in love with the 1940s leather suitcase. They're not opposed to bargaining and in the end, I managed quite a good deal for the suitcase, but it was still over my budget. Ah well, at least I tried and the service was super friendly. With a little "Doh!" [instert Homer Simpson voice]" I continued my quest, but definitely recommend this shop for a visit! Who knows what you'll find?!

I love vintage shopping and have a large wardrobe of collector's items. The day before we were in Antichita' Carnovale and spent over $2,000.00 dollars on bags. I was so excited to visit Abiti Usati because I had such a wonderful experience at the other shop the day before. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely older woman and we looked around a bit but wanted to see what else we could find. Next door was an extension of the shop and the owner refused to let us in. He said they were the same things and would allow us to enter and turned us away for no reason. I have never felt so awful and below someone in my entire life. I love Italy having lived here twice. I also love Rome and have bragged how wonderful the people are. The owner made me cry and ruined that moment on my last day of this trip. I would love to tell him just how awful he made me feel and the business he turned away as we were looking to purchase 7 leather jackets, a luxury piece of luggage, and a fur. Would not recommend to anyone because regardless of your opinion of Americans, we were treated like second class citizens, and being a good person is part of running a respectable business.

A great find! I love to find antique/vintage markets to look through on my travels and this is…read moredefinitely a good one. Rome is not short on antique shops or vintage shops but budget ones are rare. This is the American equivalent of an antique mall where several dealers/pickers have their section or glass cabinet full of things up for sale. While this place has things in all price ranges, the selection is big and I could easily find some bargains. I ended up finding an item I liked in one of the locked glass cabinets and I easily spotted a staff member who quickly and in a friendly manner showed it to me, and later, had an English speaking person tell me where to pay and pick it up when I was done looking. The good size clothing section is particularly priced well, I saw nice leather jackets for 25 euro and a nice leather trimmed tote for 15. They of course have the high end name brand stuff section for more. There's a large furniture section which included several mid century Italian design items that would be much much more in the states, for example a 50s Italian love seat with all the right curves and metal peg legs was only 200 euro when I could see it being thousands in the US. The neighborhood is a bit off the way if you're staying in the Vatican/Centro area but near the Termini station, tho surely worth the treck!

Worth visiting since it is one of the largest and most selective in the city. It even has a stylish bar inside also with outdoor seating and off street parking.
