While in England, we had to experience a tea. Since we didn't have fancy clothing, we opted for an afternoon tea in a casual place in a little town near where we'd been hiking. We chose a variety of sandwiches from their list of options. Then we each chose a cake, of which we got one piece each. We shared all the sandwiches and cakes so we could try many of them. You could either have caffeinated tea or herbal tea. The goodies came out on three-tiered trays--3 of them for our party of 6. We sat at a table out in the garden area, and it was a beautiful setting for relaxation. The servers were friendly and the price wasn't outrageous. read more
