Mmmm, I was definitely in the "Cinnamood" for their rolls-- sweet, sticky, and soft, these really hit the spot. The little shop had a short line that went quickly when I stopped by around 3pm. They have drinks too but I was there for the sweets! The variety of flavors were so fun to look at, ranging from the classic cinnamon roll to the fruity berry flavors and indulgent ones like cookie dough or red velvet. They cost just under 5 Euros each. Be sure to grab some napkins, because they are soooo sticky!
** Pistachio: the bread was really soft and gooey (not just the middle part, but all of it!). Definitely on the sweet side, but the dollop of pistachio cream didn't put it over the top. So pretty and also tasty.
** Speculoos: I love everything cookie butter, but this one wasn't as good as the Pistachio for me; somehow the cookie butter overpowered everything, but the flavor itself didn't taste as aromatic/spiced as the Biscoff version I am used to. Still tasty but wished I picked another to try! The bread was still very soft and tender.
Service was quick and friendly. There were a few honeybees hovering and landing on the rolls, but no one seemed to mind too much. There's a teeny tiny seating area in the shop that might just be for quick pictures, but there are public seats in the plaza outside. I would totally come back without hesitation if I'm in the area... check them out :) I'm super pulled to try some trendy cinnamon roll shops in New York now! read more
