Great Indian food from here, yes it's the closest one to my house but that's just a bonus. Really nice dishes and good portion sizes.

This place has none of that, everything's done in the modern Indian style and fairly well too. Apart from efficient staff (which to be honest most indians worth there salt don't have a problem here) this place does seem to be a cut above the rest when it comes to the quality of their dishes. Furthermore they did have REAL Indian desserts. I had to ask specially but they managed to knock up some Laddoo which took me right back! Had a nice chat with the manager who's clearly thinking like a 'new' indian restauranteur with some great ideas to be different. Sorry, I normally hate gushing reviews. This isn't the best indian ever, but it's pretty damn good for Yeovil.

There are marvellous views over the tops of the beautiful buildings that surround it and of the green in front of the cathedral. Yet, the old cafe will always be missed by this reviewer. I have rarely seen a choice of cake like it had...and all sorts of allergies were catered for. There was more of a sense of history, being tucked within the old building. This new cafe is anodyne but in keeping with the changing tastes of we folk. Did I mention the scones were delicious and crunchy?
