My first customized cinnamon roll! You can either build your own or pick one of their specialty options. I went with the seasonal options and picked the pumpkin spiced cinnamon roll and my friend went for the pecan pie cinnamon roll. The pumpkin spiced one didn't have as strong of a pumpkin flavor as I'd like but it was still delicious! It comes out warm and the cinnamon roll itself was soft and chewy! The pecan pie one tasted exactly like pecan pie. For the price, the cinnamon roll is worth it because it's huge and they don't skimp out on the toppings. Staff was very helpful with explaining the menu to a first-timer! Would rec for anyone with a sweet tooth!
Move over Cinnabon! Cinnaholic is the New Young Thunder Cat on the outskirts of Charlotte. With over 20 unique frosting flavors, plus a wide assortment of toppings, Cinnaholic is instantly winning the hearts of everyone. This isn't your average cinnamon roll shop. Whether you're on a vegan diet or not you can't go wrong with eating these cinnamon rolls. All their products are made with the highest quality ingredients and are 100% plant-based! GASP! Dairy & lactose-free, egg-free and cholesterol-free.....GASP again....Vegan and delish? Yes, Way. My recommendations: Raspberry Dream (The REMIX): Chocolate frosting, Huge lump of cookie dough, Fresh raspberries, almonds, chocolate sauce. Birthday Cake: Cake batter Frosting, marshmallows, and colorful sprinkles. Southern Apple Pie: Maple frosting, Apple, pie crumbles, pecans, caramel sauce. Mocha Mocha: Coffee frosting, Mocha ice cream, coffee dust, chocolate sauce. Chai Latte: Chai and marshmallow frosting, pecans, coffee dust. Sweet Summer Lemonade: Lemon Frosting, strawberry ice cream, coconut The Raspberry Dream (REMIX) was my favorite, I loved the fresh fruit topping.
"As seen on Shark Tank..." this little wonder is tucked quietly in the sleepy town of Indian Trail. Both of which are screaming to be enjoyed and frequented. Cinnaholic is a truly unique place that offers a build your own cinnamon bun that is actually, drum roll please, vegan. I'm not a vegan, I have no desire to be a vegan but this place makes me reconsider. When you walk in there is a gigantic menu board where you order the classic roll, choose from an array of icing and even more toppings to "top it all off". If you're not sure or not the adventurous type, they have recommendations hanging around the shop or stick with the 'ol Classic.
You know I've always been a fan of Cinnabon but after my co worker put me into this place it's almost a sin to go back to eating that. This place will get you stuff with just one solid juicy cinnamon roll. I mean I thought I was going to get a 1 way ticket to diabetes central city but it was just spectacular to see the effort poured onto this cinnamon roll. They have mini ones where If your kids cleaned the house or your co workers are actually doing work you can reward them with a couple of these bad boys. With that being said I received one for my birthday because I'm just that guy but bet. Photos speaks levels on this one. Blessings.
Oh. My. God. Charlotte Agenda hyped this place up and it totally lived up to it. This is definitely the best dessert I've ever had. I did a custom cinnamon roll with peanut butter and raspberry icings and marshmallows, strawberry, banana, raspberries, and pie crumble for toppings. It was incredible. The cinnamon roll was gooey and delicious. There are tons of toppings and icing flavors to choose from. If you're too overwhelmed, they also have premade combinations you can try. I had a bite of my husband's and friends and they were both amazing as well. Everything is vegan, but you would never know. I'm not vegan and they were the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I can't wait for them to open up a location closer to Charlotte! It's definitely worth the drive all the way out here. I highly recommend making the trip out to try it!
They got the name right... cinnaholic because if eating here is wrong well I am going to be wrong! The desserts they say are vegan but I didn't notice a difference between non vegan. It taste remarkable and so many options on your buns! The buns are so warm and fluffy and made to order! You can get used buns for cheaper but fresh is how you want them. I got the Cookie Monster but sub it with brownie bits and Oreos. What you talking about?!? What you say?!? That is right down right should be illegal it was so GOOD! I claim no sweet tooth but I definitely have cravings now for this place. I would suggest you split one if it is your first time because it is a lot. If you are a hardcore dessert person. I take my hat off to you. I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy!
Phenomenal dessert treats with melt-in-your-mouthful flavors! We loved the toppings--the flavor combination I chose was peanut butter frosting and cookie dough bites on top of the cinnamon bun. I'm a peanut butter fanatic! Thus I loved the flavors of Peanut goodness wrapped around the cookie dough sweetness. You can choose a frosting and then as many toppings as you want to include (you pay per topping). I loved my combination and would definitely try the coffee frosting next time. My friend liked her coffee frosting and pie crust toppings. Her roll was very full of cinnamon flavors, which was more like the traditional cinnamon roll idea. Good service, they let you taste the frostings to help decide on a flavor. I liked the decaf coffee and would love to taste more frostings next trip!! If you have a sweet tooth & are hungry the whole roll is awesome. You could also split the roll with someone. Parking is in the lot nearby the Sun Valley movie theater.
I forgot how delicious these rolls are until today. Warm, fresh and with a nice amount of icing. Service was quick and friendly. Cozy atmosphere if you want to stay in and play a game or just hang out. Variety of rolls but also offering coffee and cookies. Do yourself a favor if you are craving a cinnamon roll and try them out...you won't be disappointed.
Super yummy rolls. I live far but i always come when they have the pizza rolls in October. Super yummy really cute spot. And the staff is so kind and hard working.
Old school is the way To go for me . So many options to choose from. Definitely worth the trip Over here if you are in this area . Old school is the original cinnamon roll loaded with delicious icing ! Trust me you not be disappointed! God bless all my fellow foodies Always
I am very picky about sweets, when you eat processed desserts, it leaves a weird film on your tongue afterwards. So when I was meeting people at Cinnaholic, I was not too enthused, I was going to be social. They looked amazing, I was still in 'this could be a bunch of fake stuff mode.' I tasted the ooey gooey rolls, wait..... they did not have that weird after taste. I stand corrected. After talking on Instagram later, I found out 100% Vegan, dairy free, lactose free, egg free, cholesterol free and you can top it with dairy free gelato from Artisen. (Equdorian gelato, shop in Matthews) If I would have known this before hand I might have been a little judgey because I do love some butter. But I would rather have this cinnamon roll over chain or pop out of can. Tip: get icing on the side and reheat at home for take away.
Cinnaholic has been on my radar for a while... if you follow them on instagram, you'll know why. It is a little bit "removed" from Charlotte... but for a short drive, the payoff is well worth it if you have a friend that's vegan or you yourself are one, the vegan options in Charlotte are few and far between. This location is in Wesley Chapel, which has been experiencing a lot of growth lately. The shopping center is fairly new... I think I only knew it as a movie theater location, but it's good to see more buildings and businesses are filling in around it. Walked in during the afternoon and the nice lady at the register greeted us and gave us the spiel on how everything worked with the menu. A few minutes later, we were gorging ourselves with cinnamon rolls. Probably could have shared one, but I figured since we came all the way out there... may as well try 2 different rolls. Tried the original - YUM and their cookie monster.... which ended up being super decadent and heavy... but if you are a fan of cookie dough, this will not disappoint. The shop is a typical size strip mall shop... a handful of tables around. There were some teenagers hanging out in the corner.... I guess this is the 2018 version of Dairy Queen when I was growing up. Water is available, but they also carry other choices for drinks in a cooler. Their display case had Avengers: Infinity War inspired concoctions... which I thought was novel. Overall a great experience... I would come back to try their thousands of combinations when you customize a roll or two.
Simply Delicious! Yes, you are consuming lots of calories. But once in a while it's okay. The cinnamon rolls are a good size, one is enough. Everyone in my family loved their rolls. Good flavors!. I did not eat at their restaurant, they offered a special delivery service to our subdivision due to the pandemic. This is definitely a place that I would go back.

It's taken a little over a year for me to get to Cinnaholic. I tried to go during the free event and never made it. My family was grieving the lost of our pet and decided to stop in for some comfort food while out running errands. We got 3 of the cinnamon rolls. We got the Caramel Apple Pie Roll, the Blueberry Pie Roll and the Grinch Roll. I sampled all of the cinnamon rolls. I wouldn't say that I had a favorite. They were all satisfactory but they left me with an odd taste in my mouth. They were sweet and aesthetically pleasing but I probably wouldn't order them again. I felt like they were a bit over priced and didn't give me the wow factor I was expecting. I hate to say this but we never finished any of the rolls and I feel like they went in the fridge and were never finished but trashed after a couple days. Overall I'm glad I gave them a try but won't be back. Cinnaholic 6461 Old Monroe Rd Ste F Indian Trail, NC 28079 Saturday December 19, 2020 11:45am (Review 476 overall, 20 of 2021) read more
As the name suggests, if you're a fan of anything cinnamon roll, this is the place for you. With a nice selection of sweets (not all rolls), I found it hard to choose what to get. Went with the Cookie Monster and oh my lord, it was delicious. Also pretty cool that it's vegan. While I myself am not vegan, it's good to have options out there for those that are. A few things to note: The coffee wasn't anything special, still good, but honestly coffee isn't the reason I stopped here. Staff was quite pleasant & friendly, as always I appreciate that. Parking is pretty tight in the front but there's plenty of room around the back Overall a good experience, definitely gonna try some more options there. read more

I was actually a little disappointed with this spot. My niece hyped it up so my expectations were pretty grand. During the current pandemic they are only offering takeout. They are asking that everyone that enters the establishment wear a face covering. My sister, my niece and I decided to meet up and grab something sweet on a Tuesday evening. The staff was friendly. I asked for suggestions to assist me with building my own bun. I decided to add cake batter frosting( I think) with pretzel, graham crackers and marshmallows as my toppings. I did try an iced coffee. The coffee is from Pure Intentions if that means anything to you. The coffee was actually pretty good, I would return for a coffee drink. The bun?? It was ok. I am not saying it's not good. It's just not anything I have to have again. If you have a sweet tooth and are in the area go in and see if it moves you! read more

Who doesn't love a warm cinnamon roll freshly baked and topped with delicious items of your choice? Well I don't know anyone. I stumbled upon this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. It's literally in the middle of no where. I'm sad that it's so far from my house. Parking is easy though and it wasn't super busy. The staff was nice and helpful. I ordered the maple icing and pie crumble topping. The roll came out as warm as ever and it melted in my mouth. It was so good. I can't wait to come back and try some other options. They also have mini rolls and cookies! read more

Gosh. These rolls are so good. I was excited to finally get to check this place off my bookmarks. First, this place smells amazing when you walk in the door! Second, you can pretty much make up any combination you want...I love that! I kept it simple this time and just got the Old School and added chocolate drizzle. It arrived warm and was so good. I couldn't resist taking a bite before I snapped a picture. Delicious! I can't wait to go back and try another one. Also, grab a day old roll to go and enjoy it at home! read more
On my first trip I was not comparing apples to apples. I did not realize this was a vegan bakery! I still was not a huge fan of the classic but I was comparing it to a dairy filled roll. This time I went for a topped roll and got the peach cobbler. It was very good. It had peaches, pecans a crumble and vanilla frosting. I split it with my wife and it was plenty and we both enjoyed it. I also got the iced coffee with vanilla almond milk. So good. The coffee is worth stopping by. read more
My family loves these sticky buns. They love The topping choices and how they don't taste overly sweet; that just means they eat one easily in one sitting. I like that they use simple ingredients. I think some topics are overly priced (like A tablespoon of pecans). However, I get it. We'll keep returning when in the area. read more
Positives: -Concept - it's cool you can customize your cinnamon roll to your liking. -Variety - there are over ten different frostings and over 15 different toppings to choose from. They have fruit or more sweet things like cookie dough. -Staff/store - friendly staff. Everyone had a smile on their face. The store was clean and tidy. Negatives: -Price - starting out the cinnamon roll is almost $5. Each topping is $.50. For two cinnamon rolls, a green tea and coffee, it was $19. -Taste - maybe because I'm not vegan, I wasn't a fan. I thought the cinnamon roll itself was bland. The toppings weren't very good either. We ended up throwing our cinnamon rolls away after only two bites. We tried the blueberry Pie and cookie dough. Based on price and taste alone, if you're not vegan, I'd eat a regular cinnamon roll with all the good stuff. For those that are vegan, it's a nice option for a sweet breakfast treat! Tip: if you don't like a lot of frosting, ask for lite. read more

There were so many delicious options! All the workers were extremely patient and well-versed with the menu. And the store is very clean!! You choose your icing, then the toppings [you pay for each topping] So yes, the cinnamon rolls can get a little pricey once you add toppings. I loved that they offered day old rolls for a discount. The to go cup of icing is more than enough, you only use about half a container for each roll. When you have a large family like myself this was the most cost-effective way to enjoy the cinnamon rolls. We will definitely be visiting here again, can't go wrong when the cinnamon rolls are vegan! FYI- they may be lil sweet for some. read more

After grabbing dinner at Trail House, our friend mentioned that he wanted to try this place - touting the Shark Tank backed themed Vegan cinnabon. I ordered a bun with Hazelnut icing and walnuts, my wife got a cookie dough. The buns were made fresh - so they were hot and when we opened the containers up I saw steam, a large bun - while not tall it covered a lot of area - and enough icing for a small wedding cake. I dove in and took a bite. First thing is first: Holy Type II diabetes Batman! Talk about too sweet. Second - trying just the bun - I liked that it was hot, but while it looked moist, it had a gritty and tasted dry on my pallet. Not nearly as good as the rave - I have had local bakery, cinnabon, and the standard Pillsbury Dough Boy canned buns that tasted better and didn't cost $6+. The cookie dough was boring - it tasted like artificially flavored cookie dough, had that same gritty after taste on the pallet, and was just not satisfying. We through away 80% of what we bought - which hurt since it was a $13 trip when we would have been a lot happier with even a McDonald's ice cream cone. Maybe it's that they don't use butter, eggs, milk, but whatever it is, Cinnaholic didn't do anything to help me want to eat vegan. Shark Tank or not - wasting $13 at Cinnaholic gave me nothing but buyers remorse. So many better choices out there for desert. read more
I convinced my family to come here for an after dinner treat. Holy deliciousness aroma as you walk in, I mean MOUTH WATERING GOODNESS! I was excited to try this place as Ive heard about them on social media and thru my friends. The location is cute and modern looking. Not very large of a space, about 6 tables. We were the only customers there at 7 pm on a Saturday. Cinnaholic Is neat concept where you can add different toppings but it does get pricy quick. They have about 12-15 different topics (for example: pretzels, fruits, nuts) that you can choose to add to your roll for an up charge. I ordered my cinnamon roll without icing but chose walnuts as my topping. Cinnamon rolls are doughy and good but WAY TOOOOO sweet for my liking (and that was without any icing)! They were out of brownies. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie and it was okay. read more
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet as I've been 5 times already was even here for the Grand Opening $1 Roll event. I LOVE this place, I follow the business on FB as they won Shark Tank and is based West Coast. Imagine the joy I felt once I read they were coming to NC and being Vegan it was even more exciting as I don't get many Vegan GOOD dessert choices here. I don't eat dessert often but when I do I would like something tasty and memorable. This place fits the bill both tasty and memorable. There are so many options and combinations you can do with the icing flavor and the toppings that you will keep coming back to try the next and the next and the next (at least that's my excuse for multiple visits plus I've taken out of town guest. This place was a madhouse my first 3 visits as it was still SUPER new. It was a little better as far as crowd by visit 4 and super easy in and out on visit 5 which was this past weekend. I enjoyed the Queen City roll on grand opening day and our toddler had the Birthday cake roll which he gets every visit now. My husband favorite is orange icing with walnuts. I've had lemon and coconut as well as vanilla and almonds. Overall this place is a keeper read more

This place is genius! I've been wanting to try this place because for one it's vegan and two I've been hearing such great things about it before it hit North Carolina. I'm so happy to be able to say we have one. The cinnamon rolls are amazing. You can create your own for a base price of $4.25 and then choice of frosting is .25 cents and each topping is .50 cents. I got the create your own and got the cream cheese frosting with strawberries. The berries were very fresh and the consistency of the frosting was perfect as well as the cinnamon bun melting in your mouth. The cinnamon roll isn't to rich or sweet, it doesn't cause you to feel full or fell like you overindulge when you normally eat a cinnamon roll. I definitely will be back. They offer cookie dough, and brownies as well. They also have a wild selection drinks as well to wash down your cinnamon bun. Oh and Everything is vegan. There is a reward system for you to sign up for and you get a free cinnamon bun for your next visit when signing up for loyalty. read more

First time i've eaten at a new concept that originated from a pitch on the show Shark Tank! These guys are on to something! The flavors/toppings that go with these buns are fantastic! You would never know everything is 100% vegan! My first try, i got the "Strawberry Shortcake" (cream cheese spread, strawberries and cookie crumble). It was delicious! They have several spread/topping options. You can create your own or choose from one of their classic creations. Right now, they're only located in Indian trail but I've heard from staff that they are planning on expanding to Charlotte in the near future! read more
