Came in for a walk in and got in right away. Needed a full set before a weekend getaway and showed Tony my inspiration picture and he did not hesitate to exceed my expectations! I am very pleased with my experience!

This place was terrible, I came in just to remove my acrylics and I asked for my nails to be soaked and they didn't do it until one of the workers almost clipped my skin. She then used the drill and drilled down way too much, almost to my skin bed.

I had such a hard time to pay at the end!! He said at first $35 then when I go to check out he says $45!! I refused to pay the new amount and only paid the $35. stay away! Unbelievable disrespectful male confrontation as my girlfriend and I went in for pedicures after I received an email for my birthday and we arrived @ 1000 there's no customers in the salon and we're in a great mood because it's my birthday and we have other plans for the day as well This male confronted me about the print out I had and wanted me to prove with an id that was me. Then wanted to know if I had an appointment!!!! Cindys never requires an appointment EVER Walk ins Regardless there's no one in the salon This male was being a complete arse So confrontational Ugh My friend and I left so disappointed not to ruin my birthday plans we continued on Unbelievable that this guy turned down 2 paying customers?!!!! read more

Pedicure is $42. Was told this doesn't include callus, bottom of foot exfoliation. There's a new rule: it's $5 extra. I live in chicago with plenty of salons and lots of competition. No extra charge for this. I can paint my toes. I come to a salon to get a pedicure! Won't be coming back read more

Don't waste your time! Made reservations for 2 - he was totally unprepared. Very slow. Dirty utensils and towels. Poor work. The nails were cracking the same day. Never got to the pedicure because he worked so slowly. Poor communicator as to how things were going to be handled. Never go back there. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. All of my fingers and toes are completely butchered. My skin was cut and bleeding. My large toes are completely crooked and cut so short they hurt. The entire place is filthy. Halfway through my manicure the nail technician got upset when I told him I was unhappy with my manicure, he walked off angrily and never came back to finish. The employees are extremely unprofessional and refused to offer any discount for this terrible job. They then brought in other customers to give their opinion on my nails. My nails looked better before I came in. Do not go there read more

Cindy's nail salon is the best one in Michigan City Indiana. I always recive great customer service and the staff is very friendly. The pedicures are wonderful and I love that they line thier pedicure stations with plastic so it is clean every time and sterile no worrying if someone else had a issue with thier feet. I love thier new point system, I really love every one that works there so nice and friendly. read more

This place is dirty...and they REUSE the acetone polish remover after you soak your fingernails in it, they dump it back into the container!! EEEWWWW! They also charge an extra 5 dollars for " French manicure" that is NOT listed on the price menu. RIDICULOUS....I would never go back there....DISCUSTING!!! read more

Was on vacation and two of my nails broke. I made an appointment and went to Cindys nails. She (Cindy?) was awesome. Removed all my gel nails and told me they should not have left them that long. I didn't know but my technician in NY should have! She didn't even charge to remove them. She did an amazing job with the mani and I wish she was close by as i would be a regular! its hard to find someone you can trust to do such a good and honest job!! read more

I went to Cindy's all the time to get acrylics done and then for no reason i switched to a different place. This new place recently did a design on my nail that looked awful! So i went to Cindy's to get the polished changed on one nail. I totally expected to pay a couple bucks to get it changed especially because i didn't go to Cindy's when the mistake was made. They changed it and put a design on it for FREE! I was so blown away by the customer service and how time efficient they were about getting my one nail done when they all had a customer. I'm never going to another place. If you need to get your nails done and want people who care, go to Cindy's! read more

This place is horrible. Please stay away. My bf and I went here before our trip out of the country and was extremely disappointed (that's what I get for trying to support a local place before a big trip). They had numerous flies inside the salon and spraying RAID in the air. The nail tech flew through my mani/pedi so fast. Such a huge disappointment. read more

My daughters and I on a vacation in Michigan city and were hoping to get our nails done while we were here. I am so thankful that we found Cody's nail salon to take care of us. It's a very clean nice salon with plenty of chairs and kind and skillful technicians to tend to our needs. I wish I caught the managers name because he really impressed me with his knowledge and welcoming attitude. I highly recommend this salon and would definitely come back again! read more

This was seriously the worst pedicure I've ever had! I am a cosmetologist and know what all the state board rules about sanitation and sterilization are. and proper steps for a mani pedi are. Absolutely horrible experience! Went for a pedicure. Water was tepid at best. I asked for it to be warmer and he didn't change it. He filed my toenails but he didn't make any effort to clean out underneath the toenails. How disgusting! I asked for a design on my big toe and he appeared to not know how to use this design tool that the company utilizes. I paid and left. 25 minutes later my toes were still not dry. Won't make the mistake of ever going there again. read more

I will not be going back. I was interested in getting my toes done before I went on vacation and had a hard time finding a place that was not booked for when I was available, so with a recommendation from a family friend, I looked into Cindy's. They were very polite and prompt with scheduling an appointment through Yelp's messaging service, but scheduling that appointment did me no good whatsoever. I showed up about five minutes before my scheduled time and no one was available to do my pedicure. Most places, at least, have you sit in the chair and soak your feet while you wait. Not this place. One of the nail techs (must have been the owner that I had requested an appointment with online) kept asking if I was the one who had requested the appointment online, but yet, I did not get called back until 30 minutes later. Once I did get called back, the entire pedicure probably took an hour because the nail tech kept leaving to do something else throughout the pedicure process. I have experienced better service when it comes to getting a pedicure. Better managing of walk-ins and scheduling needs to take place because I should not have had to wait 30 minutes past my scheduled time nor sit for an hour to get my toes done. Such a waste of $27 and my time. read more

After searching all over here and other websites for reviews for a good but affordable nail place I went to Cindys after a recomendation from a friend. Will NOT be going back ever. Went in for a mani-pedi 5 days before I'm induced to deliver my second child. My mom also got a pedicure, they told her they wouldn't put polish on her toes due to nail discoloration. Yet charged her the exact same price?? As for me they spent zero time doing any foot or calf massage, which hello I'm 9 months pregnant & was really looking forward to that part. Toes turned out just ok. Nails are another story. Prenatal vitamins do wonders for nails and hair and this is one of the very few times I've ever even kept long nails. I asked for them to be trimmed just a tiny bit.....well lets just say they are barley over my finger and one hand is a completly different length than other hand. To top it off this is seriously thee most dirty place of public business I have ever been in. Don't waste your time or $, go anywhere else. read more

They as soon as we left they close the doors turn the lights off, and we were met with them in the parking lot. So obviously they don't stay open like the hours on the door say. I'm so sad that we picked this place because we were again trying to make the best out of our day and remembrance of our mother. Sorry mom we tried. We did make the best out of it though! So SISTER's, you never know what someone's going through in their lives, but being in the service industry, it is your job to make them feel relaxed and comfortable and happy when they are there getting pampered. I came to this nail shop for gel manicure and pedicure. First, my gel nail last about 3 weeks and really love the color. The staffs is professional and friendly. The place is clean and sanitary. I will come back to visit this place again when I am in town. Highly recommend. read more
