This Cinépolis location sits right in the heart of the city on the intersection of Paseo de la Reforma and Rio Mississippi. It is named for the famous monument/fountain of Diana the Huntress that sits in the centre of the large round-about immediately in front of the theatre. Some of the other Cinépolis locations have been updated and renovated to offer movies with V.I.P. seating and in-theatre wait service, or to show films in 4-D with moving chairs and interactive elements such as wind, water-spray, and even smell-o-vision! Yet, Diana, with it's great location seems to be on the back burner in terms of any kind of future updates. The theatre is often showing the most current of films out of Hollywood, and occasionally provides the option of viewing these films in 3-D. If you happen to be spending an evening on Reforma and are looking to watch a film, there is no reason not to go to this theatre; at least it is always bustling. However, if you want a truly special experience there are many theaters in this city, and many of them have stepped up their game to offer more than can be found at Cinépolis Diana. read more
