As a beginner cigar smoker the service, knowledge and helpfulness of the lady today was superb. Great range of cigars, the different depth, flavours and type of cigars were a bit overwhelming for us, but the lady did not make us feel awkward, when asking about each one. great service read more

CigarWorld is located on the 7th floor of the nice El Corte Inglés department store in the gourmet section. They have a nice walk in humidor which is stocked fairly well however they only sell by the box. The issue that I have is that the women that work there have no personality, are unhelpful and know nothing about cigars. I ended up purchasing a box of Bolivar Lusiados for €155 but the sales lady acted like she was doing me a favor selling them to me. If you are looking for a real tobacconist do yourself a favor and visit the classic Casa Havaneza or the excellent La Casa del Habano that are also in Lisboa. read more

This La Casa del Habano is an excellent shop! I have been to more than 30 LCDH's in the world and…read morethis is one of my top 5. While not large and ultra fancy like Amsterdam or the new one in Harrod's, this one is intimate, warm and you can feel how passionate Luís is about his shop. Walking into the humidor you can feel that the RH and temperature are carefully monitored. Once in there you see the well thought out selection of Habanos. The price of Habanos are very good in Portugal and not much higher than Spain. The advantage is that I have only been to one shop in Spain that has the quality humidor and expertise that Luís has. For a few Euro more I would happily pay for the qualities he provides. After a nice visit I happily walked out with a handpicked box of Trinidad La Trova's and a handpicked box of Bolivar Lusiados at a very fair price. In Lisboa I liked the classic Casa Havaneza and their location however this LCDH would be the place to shop if you are very serious about Habanos.
