After driving more than a few miles out of my way after reading the Yelp reviews on 337 Vape and…read morethe lack of local vape stores that are still in business in the area man was I disappointed - I walked in to find the attendant engaged in a conversation about "Sikorski" parts with a visitor, maybe he was a customer maybe he wasn't that's besides the point, I was totally ignored after minutes of having to listen to this conversation when it was oblivious I had a question on a specific "vape" product. Finally after tactfully requesting the information I got an abrupt no answer and he resumed his conversation, he didn't offer an alternative product or showed any interest in making a sale. Do I seem frustrated - maybe since I thought I walked into a vape shop not a heliport geez, I bet the owner will be as frustrated with this review as I was with the customer service here, two stars only because it is a beautiful shop and hopefully today was just a snap shot and not the norm...

My wife & I run a vaping giveaway group on Facebook. We like to support local B&Ms as well as order…read moreonline , to do giveaways for our members that aren't funded by our sponsors. We made a list of shops since we had to go to Laffeyette for some boudin. (Smoked boudin that is, from Billy's in case you're wondering) We went to 3 stores that day & only stayed more than 5 minutes in one, and Troposphere was it. Shortly after we got there, while looking through the cases, Tim walked in & We all struck up some great conversation. He did have one other person working & for the life of me, I can't recall his name. Sorry man lol We discussed our group & the state of the vaping community. Tim shared some recent video & reports that we hadn't seen. I think we were there for well over an hour. We purchased a Peerless tank & some large CoilMaster organizers & a couple other items. Next thing we knew, Tim was making us some goodie bags to use in a live feed giveaway! We didn't ask & didn't have intentions of asking for donations , we went in to make purchases. But Tim graciously stepped up & helped out. We have seen Tim pop onto our page & live feeds from time to time. Great guy & Great shop. I'd highly reccomend Troposphere!!

I don't recall how I first discovered the paradise that is Vitamins Plus in Drug Emporium, but I do…read moreknow that, over the years that I have been a loyal patron, the department has grown to encompass a good third of the store. Hooray for that! Vitamins Plus offers healthy items like tea, supplements, food & bath products at a very reasonable price. I have done price comparisons & VP has won out almost every single time. Another plus about this place is that, if they don't carry something, you can make a request & they will order it for you, then begin carrying it in perpetuity! It's also conveniently located near my apartment, which is a definite bonus. On the other hand, the staff is what you would expect of a part-time, minimum-wage staff in retail. Therefore, if you're looking for guidance, your best bet is to do your own research because customer service is a bit of a crap shoot. Additionally, plan to have cash, check or debit card handy for payment, since credit cards are not accepted at this establishment. All in all, I'm happy with Vitamins Plus. I have recommended - & will continue to recommend - these guys to people who are interested in the crunchy granola lifestyle without too much pain inflicted on the ole' wallet.

This is the kind of comic shop I remember from when I was little, the lone outpost of comics and…read moregames and the like that is all a small town can support. I spoke with the owner and they've been here forever; a true institution for the small town comic geeks. The shop is kind of small and set way back in the shopping center, you actually kind of have to look pretty hard for it. The space is small so it's a little cozy but everything is well organized and cleanly lit. The owners were some of the friendliest people I've ever met; they gave my friend a couple of issues after speaking with her a bit about her tastes in comics. Honestly two of the nicest comic shop owners I've ever met. Their selection is a little limited by their space but they will happily do special orders and do folders for customers. I wouldn't expect to find a complete selection of, say, Jodorowsky here, but they've got 95% of what most people are looking for and can order the rest. Clean shop, friendly people, you can't ask for much more.
