His 'lifetime warranty' turned out to be "30 feet or 30 seconds". A shame, because the first time he showed up quickly and got the job done. I hired him a second time and he was prompt and got the job done. Now there's either a problem with one of the screens he replaced (he was supposed to replace all of them along the top on the second trip) or he missed one. Either way, he owes me this one. Been calling / texting for a month or two. Got several "I'll be in the area soon", and now going straight to voicemail and no replies to texts. Maybe the fact that there's no money on the table explains why he's not responding. read more

Contractor performed repair after Hurrican Helene and was faulty workmanship as screen was wavy and not completely secured. We have tried repeatedly to get him back to our home to correct the work and have been extremely patient. Today he was supposed to show but ghosted us. Buyer beware. He left remnants of screen, metal and plastic residual all over the place. Sloppy work and his lifetime warranty is worthless as he never came back. read more

Duct Tape screen repair- brilliant! Last week with the storms I lost a few screen panels. Jared Cifaldi of Cifaldi Screen Repair, LLC came by and "fixed" the three panels. He then left in a hurry. Once I went upstairs I saw why... he used duct tape! WTF? Has anyone ever seen such clever BS? He says he gives a three year guarantee... this did not make it by the time he was down the street. I have called him numerous times and he keeps saying he'll come out but never does, then ghosts me. Anyone else have an experience like this with Jared? This isn't incompetence, I think it is illegal, you don't duct tape screens. BTW, if you do screen repair, real repair, please contact me as I need to get this fixed before my daughter's birthday party. So with the storms coming, if you need screen repair... don't call the duct tape guy! If you know the duct tape guy tell him he owes me money for the work not done right! read more

Jared was reasonably priced and did my screens with a 5 year warranty. He did a great job and came as soon as he could after Fathers Day.

Jared did a terrific job after this Force 5 Hurricane Ian. He had a terrific price and did an excellent job. He even did more than he quoted. And at no additional price!! A real gentleman! We would definitely recommend Jared and would use Jared Screens again. He did a great, thorough job at a great price! As for the other negative reviews... I know of 2 other customers who just had their screens replaced and each also think Jared is terrific!! Hard to imagine that the negative comments from such a long time ago were anything but biased. They clearly do not appear to be valid based on our - and our friend's -experience. read more

Do NOT hire this guy. He's a thief and a liar. I hired him for a small screen repair and he needed to be paid in advance "to buy the materials". Then he disappeared and kept putting the job off with one excuse after another. I finally asked for my money back and, although he agreed to refund it, he's been jerking me around for two months, always promising to bring the money "later today" or "tomorrow" or whatever. Jared was on time for the measurement appointment. Very approachable, friendly. His skill and ability to replace my entire roof in 3 hours was impressive. He returned the next day to complete the walls and repair both doors. He had a wee bit of a transportation issue and a communication problem, we were able to work with. Do Not Hire This Guy. He quoted us a price - then complained non stop about the price he quoted. He wanted paid up front. As we speak, his trash is in my yard, the job isn't complete and he says he is not returning. I hired Jared to repaint and rescreen my pool cage. He was very responsive and gave me a quote right away. He showed up on time and was able to get all of the work completed within a few days. He messaged me when he got to my residence every day and when he was ready to leave. I compensated him for the work he completed daily. He was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Jared his prices blew everyone else out of the water and I checked his work daily and couldn't find any issues with it. We hired Jared to rescreen our pool enclosure and he charged a good price and did a great job. He came when he said he would and did everything right. He also did our mother in laws screen at her house and she said it looks beautiful. Not sure what happened with the other reviews, we had a great experience. In his last communication with me he claimed that since he underbid the competition I should take that saving and get somebody else to finish the work. 1 star is even a high rating for this company, but Yelp wouldn't let me choose zero!! We selected this company because of a slightly impressive YouTube video, but should have done our homework. He rescheduled on us two or three times, citing personal issues. I tried to be understanding and worked with him to reschedule, but on the third appointment date he never showed. Luckily I did not (and would never) pay up front or make any kind of deposit -- but the hassle and disappointent was enough to write this review.
