My wife's dish (Tortelli Fidelio) was what would be normally termed ravioli, supposedly stuffed with shellfish. We could not tell the kind of shellfish, nor could our waiter explain it due the language barrier, even with the English translation menu. Regardless, it did not impress. My pasta (Orecchiette in a baked clay pot with cheese and minced meat) was the local specialty. While the clay pot came out steaming hot, it was obviously reheated after having been frozen since sometime earlier. Underneath the top layer it was cold. Really? Reheated?? I had to send it back. While it came back to me hot throughout, the bloom was off the rose. We left without a dessert, already dissatisfied with having hiked over a mile from the town center for what was supposedly the best the town had to offer. A taxi ride back to our hotel near the town center was €20. Not money well spent at the restaurant nor the unnecessary extra cost of travel.
