The specials were mainly seafood although they did have other dishes. The dishes we enjoyed were: - the Tuna tartar (wonderfully clean flavours) - the fish soup (excellent) - the chef's antipasto (delightful section of small dishes) - the grilled Dorado fillet very nicely done - the grilled fish plate (2 kinds of grilled fish fillets and some grilled prawns excellent) - the spaghetti Bolognese (the ragu is something to behold.. deep flavourful) - the Tiramisu (very tasty and surprisingly light.(like it is made with mouses)) On top of this very friendly service (even tough we were a bit underdressed) really made this one of the highlights (if not the highlight) of our trip to Oberhausen. The…read moreservice was excellent and I had a wonderful plate of carpaccio and a plate of grilled fish (Salmon, Dorado and Swordfish). The fish was outstanding with a mild lemon sauce and cooked perfectly. The whole experience was enjoyable and made a boy from Kentucky feel completely at home. Highly recommended !

Inzwischen wurde aus dem ehemaligen Restaurant eine Wohnung. Hunde waren erlaubt, da wir auch einen Außenbereich hatten. Internet gab es nicht - da hat die Seite, die darüber berichtet, bereits einen Fehler gemacht. Wir hatten nämlich öfter Stammgäste mit Hunden; ich erinnere mich nur noch an zwei davon, einer hatte einen Dackel. Das Restaurant war super lecker und besonders bei Kindern bekannt - unter anderem für die Pikachu-Pizza. Die Idee hatte damals mein Cousin, und meine Mutter hat sie umgesetzt. Kinder liebten sie, und ich als Pokémon-Fan natürlich auch. Leider mussten wir Ende der 90er schließen und sind dann aus Herten weggezogen. Besitzer waren meine Eltern Orlando und Gabi
