This place is hidden on a street that is full of industrial buildings so it is really easy to miss yet it's quite popular place with the locals that work on that street. They offer a great selection of sandwiches in between two slices of that great ciabatta bread. They also offer coffee and baked goods as well. I was surprised at how much sitting room there was since the actual restaurant counter is quite small. The further you walk in, the more room you discover. We opted to sit on a few of the limited patio with our Lammie (slow cooked NZ lamb) and Smokie (Smoked salmon). They both came in their own little boxes and just unfold into a little plate for you. Both sandwiches were friggin' delicious and they were built with the right flavour profile to match the protein of choice. The Lammie had the bacon jam to enhance the lamb while the Smokie had the swiss dressing & basil pesto. If it's not out of your way, we suggest coming here for lunch. It's well worth it.

We split a "Lammie" sandwich on seeded whole wheat. The "secret sauce" was outstanding and the lamb was tender and tasty. Plenty for the 2 of us. Lots of nice vegies in the sandwich. I also order a rhubarb-berry pie and it was delightful. Not too sweat and the crumble was perfect. No excess sugar. We split that along with a very, very delightful almond croissant. Covered in slivers of almonds and a touch of almond paste filling. Both pastries we're a bit tough. Maybe sitting too long in the display ?

This was an excellent find while seeing the sights nearby. It is clearly a place primarily for locals, as it is located off the main roads, and is well worth finding. My wife had one of their warm Ciabatta sandwiches and I had the smaller "hot dog" equivalent. Both were really good - indeed excellent. We also shared one of their Christmas Cronuts, which was also excellent. The place has a fun, funky, large, clean interior and very friendly service. I would go back.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! First of all, the inside is huge with tons of seating. The atmosphere is awesome inside. And the food was delicious! I'm so glad we found this place!!

So I was on holiday from the states and my kiwi friend suggested we try this place for breakfast while in Rotorua. At first I was skeptical only because I've always eaten tough ciabatta. So we walked into a cozy ambiance and was greeted by the friendliest staff, I ordered the porkie on Parmesan ciabatta and a mocha. Let me just tell you how lovely the sandwich was! The shredded pork had so much flavor and the ciabatta was the best I've ever had! The texture was perfect, I truly believe they've mastered the ciabatta! The mocha was delicious as well, I must've swallowed the whole thing! I can't wait to fly 6000 miles to stop by this place again! Oh and the owner was the most friendliest, sweetest, person ever!

We ventured to this cute little bakery because of some reviews on tripadvisor. It's about a mile from downtown Rotorua but worth the trip. Since we have yet to try the "cronut" this was the purpose of our journey...and they did not disappoint. We purchased all 3 flavored; chocolate, passion fruit and coffee. All were delicious. The cronut was fresh and flaky with a perfect crunch. Make sure you grab some if you're in town! The staff is super friendly too.

    Cappuccino and gonuts!

Reuben sandwich was melty and meaty and the bread was hearty and crisped to perfection.
