He ordered the eggs bennedict who h consisted of POA he'd eggs over their home made biscuit. It also included salmon and a ritzy hollandaise sauce. I opted for their house special Garabatos eggs platter. It was basically a quesadilla with ham and two eggs. The Chipotle sauce that they added was marvelous. This is definitely a five star restaurant in my book!

Lots of A+ people watching opportunities here. We had ordered a few coffees by the time our food made it to the table, but we also weren't in a rush... general rule of thumb going anywhere in CDMX. I got the French toast to share and a croissant sandwich for myself. Both were delicious. Even looking back at photos, I was happy with how everything tasted. Lots of options on the menu, so I'd definitely come back for the same food or to try something new. Didn't get a chance to go inside the café (looks super cute) but I love that it faced a beautiful plaza!

It was happy hour and they have 2 for 1. I ordered a mojito. The mojito came out with no mint. It tasted like lime juice with ice. It was green but I think they put food coloring or maybe some sort of green mixer. I drank about 1/4 of it and stopped. Worst mojito I've ever had. My brother in law had a vodka Collins. He didn't really like his either. We figured since both our drinks are 2 for 1 we wouldn't get our second drink and it would count as two. Nope they wouldn't allow. We didnt finish our first drinks and there was no way we were ordering another. My wife and sister enjoyed their wine. We shared a pizza and it was decent. We asked for water and the waiter brought out 4 bottles of water we had to buy. Every other restaurant or bar here has always brought out water without us asking. 3 wines and 2 horrible "liquor" drinks plus a small pizza was $90 US. Not worth it. Service overall was bad. When we were paying i left a small tip on purpose because the service was bad. It was around 8-9% The waiter comes over and says it's mandatory to tip 10%. Who does this? He is lucky he even got that. So I hand him a handful of coin pesos I had in my pocket and I leave. DO NOT GO HERE! There are so many better places in the area.

Today I enjoyed feuit with yogurt and granola, Mandarin juice, cafe americano, and a pan artesanal con fruta rojos. The fruit was mostly cantelope which is disappointing considering it's Mexico and the options are endless year round. Ingot the large and a small would of suffices had I known it would be so standard. The yogurt and granola portion was equal to that of the small serving on my neighbors table with small size fruit. What's up with that? The rest of the foods were at expected levels. The service staff were like tornados breaking any silence dancing through tight spaces. For the simplicity of.my order it still took almost 20 minutes to get yogurt. It's a fairly international zone and I could see other tables annoyed by how busy they were and unable to see the evilneye of desire coming from their tables. Still everyone was super polite, accepted my student Spanish, and worked to resolve any issues. The service and fruit variety warranted one star removal. Why pretend to be the best and deliver mediocrity in the simple areas?

I should have chosen the one with chile habañero, but that is sometimes too spicy. The enchiladas in green sauce were simple and good, if a little bland. The Sopa Aguascalientes was served with the ingredients in a cylinder, to which the server poured the hot broth. Again, it was okay, but rather bland and the bits of chile poblano and corn were tiny and few. I prefer soups without cream, but at least the broth, as described, had only a little cream. The meals come as is, no bread, tortillas or salsas unless requested. Service is polite. The ambiance is the best part. The patio dining offers great views of the park and stunning architecture. An added plus is the absence of beggars and unwanted musicians. The vibe is casual, but this being Santa Fe, the crowd is upscale. Given that, the prices are quite reasonable.
