This is a beautiful spot with gorgeous decor. Unfortunately the food and service is lacking. The azteca soup (tortilla soup) really didnt have much flavor, I had the 'Huevos Nacional' and it wasn't really that great, food flavor just wasn't there. I had a hot chocolate and that was good. My husband ordered a coffee but the waiter didn't bring cream or sugar, we asked for some and she still didn't bring it. Eventually we asked one of the guys walking around to bring it, also my friend was missing her OJ, we asked the waiter to bring hers and a second one for me. She eventually came back with just the one OJ for her but didnt being mine. Again we asked the the guy working the kitchen to bring it. We also ordered the 'queso fundido with chorizo', cheese straight from the package is better than this honestly. Also my brother in law's plate didn't arrive until everyone was done eating. Then we were waiting on the famous churros and they were taking a really long time. We ordered our check and that took another 15 mins. We were ready to leave with out them but we decided to wait. When they came out, half were burnt and one was ok. We were so dissappointed because the reviews seemed decent. We do not reccommend this place. All of us (party of 8) left upset. Honestly, a hole in the wall taco place is better than here, no matter how cute the decor is. read more
