However, they have been great with my car and for everything that has needed repairing... except the patch job on one of the wing mirrors... we have taken the Volvo to them. They always find time to take the car as soon as they can and this week has proven this again. When my car failed its MOT, I called with the repairs needed and they were able to get me a quote for all but one item, by the end of the day. They have offered to do a diagnostic check to see if they can fix the last item rather than repairing everything only to find that the emissions may not pass the MOT. They really have been great and I don't feel like they are trying to do more work than is really needed.

Considering these guys specialise in trucks and tractor / trailer work, and dealing with cars is probably a bit of a sideline, I always leave feeling like I have been treated as a valued customer. The staff that work there are very honest and reliable. I have had work done on my car from when it was broken into, and they were extremely helpful. I have also had a tyre repaired there after a puncture, which was extremely well priced - beats buying a new tyre. The owners live locally, so I suppose they have a lot more to lose if word gets around that they do a shoddy job or give bad advice. They appear to rely on local trade, so I think that shows that they care about providing a good service. The fuel is expensive, but that is expected from an independent garage, which can't compete with the larger supermarkets, or petrol stations. However, I would definitely recommend Rally Motors to anyone needing work done on their vehicle - they are dependable, reliable and trustworthy.
