Upon arrival, there was no one at the door to greet us. We waited at the desk for 5 minutes before a stressed out female came rushing over. She looked like she was trying to do 10 things at once and so she didn't have time to turn her head to look at us, let alone smile when she asked 'have you got a booking?' and 'how many of you?' Not a good start.
When a restaurant insists on guests waiting to be greeted and shown to a table, they should have a staff member who's sole responsibility is to meet and greet. They should be at the entrance, ready and they should be trained in high standard customer service skills.
The restaurant is dark, cold and gloomy. The tables are small and the seats are uncomfortable. read more
