Maybe we are not regulars, but every regulars started as a new customer. When we enter the restaurant, it was so full, no waiter come to ask us about reservation or seating. We walk ahead to the small space behind the open bar and seated ourselves. Instead of coming to us personally and tell us that the place is booked, They raise their voice from the bar counter loud enough for everyone to hear that the seat is booked. We are so ashamed, and we did not know because there are no Reservation signs on the table. So to save our face, we drifted to the empty seat next to the door. although feeling humiliated, we decided to still stay and order. It was obvious that we both lost our appetite, so we just ordered drink and chat. It was sad that my expectations of this place was so high, but the experience was not even close to okay. :(

The Jungle Flame was very good and very exotic and fruity something I have never had before. But the Cape Town Crush was so terrible, tasted like only ginger. It was way too overpowering. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere too, the interior is nice and I lived that there was quiet instrumental music playing. The staff was also friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for the food (although since the restaurant was very empty as we had dinner very early, there's a possibility this could be different when it's busy). Overall, the only thing I think could have been better is that I would have loved a few more vegetarian options. I am aware, that even in China a lot of restaurants focus much more on meat and fish dishes, but there are also so many delicious vegetarian dishes.
