The bartender who took my order was ok. She didnt engage in any conversation even though I was the only patron. There were two bowlers and their kids maybe she was watching them. It was around 2 pm and it took longer than I expected to get my order. Maybe the cook had a big take out order at the same time; I don't know because I was never given any sort of update or explanation. I haven't been back since. Next time im in that area I will give it another go, but i wont get the reuben. Its hard to find a good reuben in polk county.

If you have dinner at the diner next door you get buy 1, get 1 coupon. It is outdoors, so it is very seasonally dependent, but on a good day with great weather like the day I visited, it will be so much fun. They have putters for all sizes, tall or small kids and you get to choose your color of balls, which is exciting for kids. There isn't much of service to comment on as you will pay and be on your own. It is not too busy thanks to its location, so there isn't big of a problem waiting for the previous group to spare up the hole. I'd recommend this place.

I heard about this festival randomly on the Facebook I believe. So I decided to drive up north…read more It's one hour from the Twin Cities. Pleasant Drive. It's a small county fair but it's really charming because it has a couple of parkings that are free, not overpopulated, fewer stocks and things to do and play and exhibitions and animals and farms and horse race against the clock etc. I would say I enjoyed it as much as I enjoy the state fair of Minnesota. Much cheaper than the state fair even though the food inside is slightly cheaper than the state fair. It was a hot but windy day so everybody was relatively comfortable. The sheriff had stationed there and they were giving gifts to people which is really nice. Enough rides to please the kids. The pork chop line was always at least ten people and smells good. The good thing you have more than one place that says ice cream and more than one place that sells fried cheese girls (auto dictation I said Curds :-( ) There were sanitation stations at the entrance and exit of every farming exhibition. The county fair is myself just one block from most stores in Cambridge including Fleet Farm and cup foods as well at gas stations and fast food. Good Job Isantians!!!!
