Very friendly staff up front and they have plans for short term visitors: $8/one day, $25/1 week, $35/2 weeks. I thought that was pretty reasonable. Once I paid the daily fee, I was really impressed with the gym itself. Extremely clean, dumbbells were organized and not strewn everywhere. The equipment looked like it was brand new. Everything was in working order. Also equipment and dumbbells for serious lifters. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't crowded at all. Not sure how it is during the week but I was happy. Was able to use the equipment I needed. Found everything with no issues. I would definitely come back here.

The parking lot is large and there's plenty of parking as well. The only downside is that this location is quite busy in the evenings, however that being said there's plenty of machines and gym equipment that the number of people there should not be a an issue! Additionally it's hard to argue with how affordable membership is! 10$ for the basic package and 20$ for the step up. For the 20$ fee you can bring a guest with you for free - enjoy the massage area, discounts on drinks, and the tanning (proceed with caution on that though!)

However, if you are not 100% sure you want to go with this gym throughout the entirety of the contract GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, it is very difficult to cancel. The staff is very friendly and good at what they do but they are salesman who will say what they can to get you to sign. I signed up while visiting family and was told If there was no gym in Tuscaloosa I would be able to cancel, come to find out, it has to be a new residency in order to cancel. I did end up having to pay out of the 2 year contract in order to cancel. On the plus side the owner did call and try to make it right by offering compensation retrospectively but the fact of the matter is you are singing a contract that is hard to end. If you are unsure, go somewhere that has a more favorable cancellation policy. Good gym and nice people but for most I would recommend a noncontractual gym membership.
