My 4 star review was my honest rating of the business, and was not really affected by the brand selection, and I actually bumped them up from the "in between 3 and 4 stars" gray area. Having said that, I think most people shopping for musical instruments (or anything else, for that matter) would like to know if a store does not carry the major brands typically carried by other shops in their market segment. The new 3 star rating is the rounded down rating I now give them because, as a more experienced guitarist who already has higher end instruments in-hand, the shop really has nothing to offer me that would draw me in for repeat visits. The shop really is catering to entry level student musicians, which is fine, but I don't need the management messaging me every few months because they really want a 5-star review on Yelp.

The walls here are studded with numerous talent and stars who have come through here. Amazing! If you'd like to learn how to play or even want to just brush up on your skills, Roy Sakuma Studios is the place to learn from. Located in the Aiea Commercial Center, with lots of parking available (only tight on Saturday noons). Other locations are available too! I highly recommend this establishment!

I find that the private lessons are better but the half hour goes by so fast. The group lessons are an hour but if the kids aren't behaving, it takes time away from my child's progress. Their communication on the portal/email is good. I just wish the location wasn't so far and the price wasn't so much but i believe the value is worth the service they provide. Ms. Kacie has taught my daughter a lot in her vocal lessons while being highly encouraging and sweet.

Jake replied almost immediately and explained that a few employees had been sick, which caused a delay in processing. Shortly after, Hadji emailed me to let me know the instrument had been inspected and that they would expedite my order. Within a few hours, I received the shipping confirmation and tracking number for FedEx next day delivery which I really appreciated. Their customer service was excellent, and I really appreciated the quick responses and honest communication. My only suggestion is to send customers a quick email if an order is delayed. A simple update would go a long way and save customers from wondering about their order. So far, I'm very happy with the experience. I'll update my review once the bass clarinet arrives.

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Conner who was very friendly and welcoming. I pulled a few guitars off the wall and was surprised at how perfectly everything was setup. I ended up playing a telecaster that ultimately made it back home to Cali with me. Christian Pratt worked with me to acquire the tele after already flying home. He was very responsive over email and made my experience with Easy Music Center a memorable one. Can't thank these guys enough! The lessons are a lot cheaper than I've found elsewhere and he teaches them right in front of you as well. I'd heard that some places pull them off into private rooms and I don't think I would stand for that. Here you get to listen to every lesson. It's not even been 10 months since my son started and he's already working multiple key changes in a single song and playing with both hands fluently. 100% recommend.
