The Plaza consists of mostly women's clothing stores and when I say women's, I mean places that are…read moregreat if you are from 10-15 and clothing for old ladies. The other stores are mixed gender, but really only suited to teens. Aside from that, we have a bookstore, tea store, jewelry store, walk-in hair salon, a few stores that sell seemingly random items, an athletic store, a liquor store, a now closed pet store, Sears, and a big space that is the remains of Zellers and Target that will no doubt become something else in the future only to be shut down once again. This place is hopeless if you want men's clothing unless you are a teenager. The bookstore only has new and popular books, basically whatever has a movie based on it or what has one coming up, adult colouring books, and overpriced crap that I can get at Staples for less. Most of my issues with Sears come from attempting to order from their catalogue, however this store has a men's and women's check out which I could not believe. First choice haircutters is a good place to go get your hair cut and is priced well. David's tea is good, but overpriced and over-hyped. I have not personally been to the jewelry store, however I have been told that a girl went in to buy a graduation ring and was pushed around about what colour to get and what to have engraved on it and that they are very expensive. I cannot comment on the stores I do not visit which include the athletic store and the one's with random items, however I can say this: practically everything in this mall is overpriced for basic items. The Plaza's saving grace was Zellers/Target, but whatever goes into that space is always shut down too soon. The only thing that makes this better than Walmart is that it is quieter, you won't get many screaming toddlers, but you will get stared down by dozens of dead eyed teens. To make it all worse, the only place to eat nearby is McDonalds. At least we have two positives about this place: the liquor store is right by the exit so you can drink to forget it, and the Plaza is at the beginning of town, so you can go back home as soon as you leave.
