She didn't agree with Dr Ho's treatment plan which she has every right to do but it was her right to but it was the way she did it. She handed me a piece of paper and told Me that this is what I treat my patients with and I didn't understand it. I asked her to explain. I am very up on medical information, I took care of my sick mother before she died and I have been sick for over 20 years so I know a lot of medical terms and medications but I don't know know how different medication dosages compare and convert to each other. I was asking for help. She basically said to me, " You Need to decide if you want to continue being my patient" and she walked out of the room, she left for 20 minutes. Prior to her leaving, all I was doing was asking for her to explain the paper she handed me. I finally got her to explain and in order for me continue as her patient I had to be willing to cut my dosage of pills and pain patch in 2 months in a quarter. To me this isn't ethical - drugs that strong you can't cut that fast in such a short period of time. How my old Dr felt she was going to continue my care without change - is still a mistery. DO NOT USE!!! What she really wanted was Medicinal Marijuana patients since it is a cash business.

In the office, the staff was equally attentive taking the time to get to know me, my medical history, and understand why I was visiting. During the procedure, Dr. Bonte explained everything that was going on and what was about to happen; there were no surprises. Unlike other medical practitioners, I never felt that Dr. Bonte was trying to distract me from the process. That is in other words telling me what to do with my body and not what I know is good for my body. This left a real bad taste in my mouth. I would have never thought that a "wellness and pain" place would tell me how to manage my pain and what I'm comfortable with especially that I have been progressing slowly in the positive direction. The PA was only doing her job but who is she and Dr. Molina too, to tell me what is working for me???
