On top of that, I had to swat fungus gnats away multiple times, and I saw a number of plants that looked like they had browning or rotting leaves. I love to support local, but I couldn't buy anything from here and feel good about it. I had been so excited to visit this shop and spend on some fabulous additions to my plant collection, but was so disheartened with what was available and just ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Since I have a new born it has taken me a little while to write this but needless to say, ordering 6 months in advance was not enough time to get everything. My delivery date changed 5 times. Extending another month every time! No one cared. The manager at the store didn't care. No one that I talked to from Customer service cared enough to do anything. Even the warehouse distribution center didn't care and never answers their phone. I finally gave up waiting after 7 months. No one could locate all the pieces for my order (almost $5000) in the DC and they wouldn't send another to them. Idk! Nothing made sense. No one helped. I ordered from Target and it arrived within the week.

Excessive force is required to get it to close. I asked for a repair or replacement. The repair man called saying it would be weeks for the part to come in and I said that I can't wait that long. It was replaced by an exact duplicate, even down to the color. The second one doesn't work either. It's an expensive piece of garbage that only my cat can use. I can't get the lever to work and if I push the end of the recliner with my foot so it will go back in, that doesn't work either. I called their store and was told that I won't get a refund of the white glove delivery fee. I kept saying over and over "but It doesn't work," to which the woman on the other and of the line kept repeating her mantra that it was delivered. Sorry, but that excuse doesn't work. This falls under not fit for ordinary use under warranty law. I shouldn't have to use excessive force to close it. I want a total refund. I paid $758.16 including tax and the white glove delivery fee. I also paid the delivery guys (first recliner) $40 in a tip. Altogether Dunk and Bright owes me $798.16. I want my money back NOW. My primary care provider told me to keep my legs elevated. I have lymphedema. I NEEDED this thing to work. I am disabled and am still recovering from major abdominal surgery. I am very angry. It shouldn't be this hard to get help. This product is defective.

The process of getting furniture from Dunk and Bright was a headache from start to finish. I ordered a couch from them in mid September and was told it would be ready at the end of the month. Then i was told the order was never put in. Mistakes happen, no worries. They tell me the couch order is in and it will be ready October 2nd. This date comes and goes and I hear nothing from them. I call and they say it will actually be ready October 9th. Again, this date comes and goes with no update from Dunk and Bright. I have to reach out several more times to get any information on my order and am told it will not be here until November. I understand delays happen--but I am seriously confused why I would have to reach out a total of five times myself (with zero communication from Dunk and Bright at any point letting me know my order was delayed). After all this, they cannot even put the delivery on the porch. I would recommend looking elsewhere where they will communicate with you and have the wherewithal to give you information when your order is delayed multiple times.

It was in the time of COVID and we had to wait for 9 months for the delivery of our new sofa and loveseat. It arrived and...I hated it. The color was blah, my feet didn't touch the floor, the seats seemed lopsided with the stuffing. Then, the tears in the seams started. We purchased the furniture from Adirondack Furniture Company so I sent them pictures of the issues. They sent out a repairman. He did a great job, but the next year there were more rips in the fabric and pilling and fabric pulling apart, which we spent extra for the uber durable upholstery. This past spring, bless their hearts, I sent another email about rips in the head rests. Well, the furniture company, Adirondack Furniture Company, reached out to me and offered 100% store credit to get all new furniture 4 years after our purchase date. People...I think this is unheard of in today's world. Today I ordered a new custom recliner (for Buddy) and a new sofa, and I still have a store credit to apply to a chair for me...all expenses, including delivery and removal of the old furniture, is being covered by Adirondack Furniture Company. These folks stand behind their products! I am incredulous.

The loading dock is not wheelchair accessible. This is a huge problem for persons with ambulatory concerns. The store has a location in (north) Utica, New York that is a ground floor showroom. If you like the Adirondack style, then I want to mention and encourage you to visit ADK Home in Old Forge, New York. They have a Facebook page but they don't display much in inventory there.
