Stopped here after a day at the beach, my wife wanted to see what Christmas items they had...Spoiler Alert: there were none (Late August). So picture the decor sections of places like Michael's and JoAnn's and mix a dab of the randomness you might find at say Home Goods and you'll start to get a picture of this store. The one thing I can say was that they were "in season" pumpkin spice EVERYWHERE (again late August) and a small Halloween section. It's an interesting store, but not something to make the trip for special, if you are in the area and you like this sort of thing you will find a thing or two to walk out with. read more

This is one of my favorite stores and I wish there was one in Pittsburgh. More than just Christmas decor as the name suggests, CTS offers bath and body items, home decor, lawn decor, furniture, food, greeting cards, cleaning and pet supplies, and kitchenware among other seasonal items. This particular CTS does not have a cosmetic section and there are limited travel sized items compared to other Christmas Tree Shops I've visited. Reasonably priced and helpful staff. read more

I generally love this store...but for the number of times I've had to run back and return my defective crap.....it's starting to wear thin. I bought a string of white xmas lights for a garland in my kitchen. I tested them, they work, then after about an hour one half goes on and off. I checked the bulbs, I checked everything. the wire inside must be cracked. Oh well....it's one of those things. I got a 3ft tree for the office and I bought a string of lights for it too. We tested them, they worked, the other secrtary put them on. Half the tree lights up and the crack seems to be at the very base of the wire where it meets the plug. This makes me wish I had saved the box the first time around because obvioulsy this isn't just a one time thing. This is exactly what was wrong with my lights at home. I also bought a pair of kitchen curtains. They looked like they had been returned but the cashier and I took them out and counted to see all the pieces were there, and they were. I get them home..........and the embrodery was done backwards. Cafe was now efaC! The wrds and images were on backwards with the seams. Which is no doubt why they were returned the first time....and I'm sure when they were returned....the customer told them why. Yet they ended up back on the shelves anyway. It isn't a bargain if I have to chuck it inthe garbage, or get back in my car, drive over, and stand in line to return them. I used to go to this place up in NH where I had family living and I was so happy Erie finally got one. Seriously makes me question if I should even use thier bird food. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would!! I'm pretty sure the most incompetent and useless employe would be Patricia. I've been in this store multiple times and she is so rude to her employees. A girl was having trouble with the register and she asked her for help and was totally unprofessional made the girl feel stupid when it was just a system issue. Also the customers that shops here are old hags. They walk around judging you and being rude asf I've even heard racist comments. I Just wanted to add my 2 cents. I am a transplant from the Boston area and have been to every Christmas Tree Shop from Cape Cod, Maine, New Hampshire, and New York . I am now living in Erie,Pa where I have been for the last 10 years. My husband laughs at me because when we visit family in New England we would need a Uhaul to bring my purchases back..I would stock up..I would always ask when are you coming to Erie and finally, years later, I got in touch with Steve Austin who has something to do with the real estate part of CTS locations. I was so excited to find out that one was coming here I started emailing all my friends(they knew about CTS because they had seen some of my purchases that I brought home). I now have quite a group of friends that frequent CTS almost as much as I do.. Not a disappointed one in the bunch.
