I suffered an avulsion of the scalp from a traumatic auto accident. The trauma team at the hospital put staples in my face!! Dr. Christman took my horrific wound into his capable hands and turned it into a barely visible scar. He is knowledgeable, personable, and has a genuine interest in his patients' progresses. He personally removed my sutures. He monitored my progress weekly after the surgery and still has me visit occasionally for re-evaluation. Follow up appointments are at no additional fee. He closely monitors the healing process to make sure you have the best possible outcome. The office is neat and tidy. The staff are friendly and skilled in their professions. I'm always greeted with a smile and They make me feel like they know me and are personally invested in my wellbeing. I recommend Dr. Christman to anyone considering plastic surgery. I was in a car accident in November of 2017. I went to Kettering Medical Center for care, and they provided me with Kenneth Christman to do facial stitches. Little did I know Christman was an out-of-network doctor, so he charged me $3200 for 2 inches of stitches, and my insurance wouldn't cover it. After the intense trauma of a terrible car accident, my car getting totaled, and my life's savings being used up for my medical bills, I called Christman's office to see if they would help me with a payment plan. The secretary told me I could give her $100 a month. I told her I couldn't afford it. And she laughed at me. She laughed at me. She said that was ridiculous-- that anyone could afford $100 a month. I began crying, and tried to explain that I was inundated with medical bills and payments for my totaled car, and that the cost of this procedure was a life-ruining amount of money. She had absolutely no sympathy. What a cruel, terrible human being. I would never, ever recommend this facility to anyone. Christman's secretary should be fired and should never be allowed to work with people again. read more

I was in a catastrophic car accident on May 1, 1995. At that time, Dr. Christman was the only Plastic Surgeon on the trauma team. Among breaking something on every extremity, I crushed every bone in my face. He, unfortunately, was the Surgeon assigned to me. I was complaining about pain in my ear and the inability to hear. He examined me in my hospital room and tried to grab an obstruction. It was ny jaw bone that perforated in to my ear canal, THAT HE TOTALLY MISSED. My jaw was wired shut with a cross bite and and underbite, ALL which I didn't have prior. When my medical parents demanded a second consult, he wanted us to go to his friend. We didn't. We went to Cincinnati and I was informed that there wasn't ONE bone in my face where it was supposed to be. Thanks to Dr. Christman. I had to undergo over 25 major reconstructive surgeries to fix his errors. He should have his thumbs removed for the pain he has caused. I will never forget his poor treatment. And he left my parents with over 20k in medical bills. He didn't accept any insurance at that time. He is a fraud and certainly shouldn't have the title as Doctor. Btw, my maiden name was Lutton. Dr. Christman and his staff are wonderful. I am one day post op and am already thrilled with the results. The nurse did everything in her power to ease my anxiety and make me feel as comfortable as possible. Before the procedure they made sure i knew exactly what to expect, no surprises. He honestly doesn't even deserve one star. My husband was born with a very rare tumor that starts at the back of the neck and wraps around his face and throat. He was rushed to Kettering hospital and in icu. (When his tumor swells up it closes off his wind pipe and he can't breathe) well the hospital called this dr Christman in to care for him and the whole time he's talking himself up and saying that it has to be done he never once mentioned that this surgery was going to cost my boyfriend at the time 27,000 and that he would have to pay this out of pocket or he was gonna try to come take MY HOME WHERE MY CHILDREN LIVE. He's very rude and nasty. Tried setting up a payment plan and he's not going for it he wants thousands at a time which neither one of us can afford that. This man has no type of heart or compassion to say the least. We thought he was a god sent angel that could fix my husband's life threatening tumor when in all reality he was the devil in disguise. Alls he seen with this surgery is dollar signs. Now he's trying to come after my house when this was not my husbands house until we got married. He's coming after me and my kids as well when we owe him NOTHING! I would never in my life recommend this man even if my life depended on it. HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AT ALL JUST THE MONEY!! If he would've told my husband upfront how much it was gonna cost him out of pocket then he would've never agreed to the procedure and honestly was pressured into it saying that he had to have it done and don't worry about the cost is what was said at the time. Dr Christman is an evil man especially trying to take a home from children. Waiting to hear back from our lawyer about all this mess and see what our options are.
