Both the kaspresknodl soup and the Kartofelsuppe are delicious. Their specials are always mind blowing; yesterday I had a roast duck with red cabbage that came with apricot, orange slices and a dumpling that man! .. Seriously.. The bomb. Outside, they have a fairly small terrace that is ideal for a few après-ski drinks. Like many of the other après-ski terraces, they have some heaters to make sitting outside more enjoyable on a chilly day. They also have the pretty standard drinks selection including beer, wine, several types of schnapps and warm wine. Service is at the bar and was quite friendly and efficient. Downstairs, they have an indoor bar. This is a good spot for drinks later in the evening or après-ski on a day with weather that isn't quite nice enough for the outdoor terrace. A final plus for this establishment is the location. It is well located both for après-ski and after dinner drinks as it is both centrally located in the town and close to the bottom of the trail that you take to get back to Zell am See. I would definitely come back if I go to Zell am See again.

It was covered in a sweet curry sauce, which was fine, but there wasn't enough lettuce to compliment the chicken. It was just too much gooeyness and not enough lettuce. And the pizza was really bland. It looks so pretty and colorful in the picture, but I could hardly taste the cheese, tuna, or sauce! The crust was even too thin. Not my favorite. The prices were really great, the service was quick and friendly, but the food was not amazing. It is however, a bar, and we got complimentary bread. I'm giving it 3 stars for the prices. I'd be willing to come back again and try other things. We looked around for other restaurants and (besides the chicken burger one) a lot of them were way too expensive.
