Our first two cleans were pretty good - no major quality issues and very easy to schedule and add on services. After that, it was pretty much downhill. Terrible quality of cleaning and not a great system to address it. If you report an issue with your cleaning, Geaux Maids sends out the same cleaner with NO PAY to "re-clean" what they missed in your home. I am sure that is supposed to act as an incentive for them to do it correctly the first time but it results in a grumpy and underpaid person in your home. It was awkward and ineffective. I hope this company can make some changes and get it right - everything is great except for the actual cleaning.

When…read moreI called back, I was talked to by a person I could barely hear on the phone stating that my time was unavailable and that my service could only be provided during the weekend. When I stated that it was not feasible, the person asked to call me back the next day (which would have been in the 42 hours cancelation fee window). I have had this booking for over a month and I feel that as a business owner, if this time were unavailable, I should have notified with a change other than two days before.

I'm desperately trying to find a professional who is capable of cleaning a 2-bedroom apartment without living dirty floors and counters. 1). Don't hire talentless and skilless maids!!!!! This is a total disrespect to your clients!!! 2). Provide your personnel with tools such as anti-dirt solutions!!!! The maid had no proper solution to clean my floors with; she had nothing but a super stinky mop. Terrible odor!!! 3). Train them!!!! 4). Communicate with your clients and explain the difference between vacuuming furniture and cleaning it. GUARANTEE MAIN SERVICES, YOU ARE TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

The prices are way more than reasonable and I've been contacted by them a few times to ensure I'm still happy with everything. They do charge a missed appointment fee which is fair, but the only time we had to reschedule at the last minute, it was waived because we rescheduled for later that week. Highly recommend!

She even came over for a couple of hours on a Friday because I was having company for the weekend for an LSU game. She is very flexible. I feel like she has become a friend AND a great house cleaner. Little did I know that I would be so let down. I was trying to get my house photographed to be listed. Well, I was quoted $200 for 2.5 hours of work. I don't know what was done in those hours. Normally when you walk into a newly cleaned home, it smells of Pinesol. The house didn't have a clean scent. There was still dust residue on my counters, bathtub, and inside doors that had window panes. There was gunk on my stove and the outside of my microwave. Let me preface this by saying that my house was EMPTY. It should've been a pretty easy clean. Underneath my two fireplaces were FILTHY! I wonder if it was even swept? I will say that the owner of the company was very understanding and refunded me because the cleaning was not up to my standards. I am not one to give negative reviews and I am sorry, but I can't give a good review just because the owner was remorseful for his employees subpar cleaning skills. If you couldn't clean a house after a renovation, then don't accept the job.
