Eventually I insisted on getting a referral to cancer Center oh Hawaii after learning that they were doing state of the art procedures. Figured it was worth looking into. I ultimately chose to treat my cancer in Hawaii rather than going to the mainland because of the wonderful Dr Lederer and his kind and professional staff. Just starting down the path to hopefully being cancer free...but I feel a lot more positive because I am working with these fine caring people.

His office staff is not very friendly and co-payments are due at time of visit. Most times the wait is not more than 10 minutes to get in the exam room. Dr Kimata is not personable, so don't except a smile from him, but I say he is very knowledgeable in what he does. Ask all the questions you have and he will give you all your answers. Schedule your appointment when he tells you for your follow up because it's hard to get an appointment with him if you don't. Seeing a specialist is a hard thing to do these days in Hawaii!
