Andrea (my consultant) took all my stress away from the moment I came in. We browsed the rails together and found several options - before I slipped on "the one." I have big boobs and had struggled to feel good when trying on dresses at other boutiques but Andrea helped me pick out dresses that worked for my figure and made me feel amazing. Not only did Andrea help style, she also personally altered the sample dress I tried on and it fitted like a glove in time for my August wedding! Throughout our fittings, Andrea also offered me expert advice and tips to do "on the day" to ensure I looked and felt my best coming down the aisle - such as the best way to hold my boutique, look after the dress (which I had to bring over to France) and ways to accessorise to enhance the overall look. From the moment we stepped inside the shop we felt relaxed and at ease (especially after a negative experience elsewhere). The fact that we had an area to ourselves and a welcoming drink made us all feel at home and individual. Sally looked after us so well and we all felt her passion for her job. She took time to listen to what Sam's likes and dislikes where which wasn't easy as my daughter hates fuss and attention. She chatted away to all of us, listening to the wedding plans and how they had met, which was lovely. Sally picked out a dress which my daughter would not have originally thought of but when she put it on we all knew 'this was the one'. As a mum I felt Sally was like an old friend and we could be honest with her. Up until now I had not been emotional... but let's just say we owe you a box of tissues!! After trying a few others, just to be sure Sam tried THE dress on again, I am biased of course but she looked amazing in it. When I turned up to my appointment with my Mum, Sister and Best friend I was a nervous wreck! From the moment I walked though the door I was greeted with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. I really wish I could remember the name of the wonderful lady who helped me. She was really understanding and got to grips with what I wanted quickly. She asked me what sort of wedding I was having and asked me a little about myself and what ideas I had before I arrived. We then went downstairs to look at certain designers she felt encompassed my requirements. We picked 4 presses together then she picked a 'wild card'. Once back upstairs I tried on all the dresses and found 'The One' in dress 2! It was funny as the dress I chose was the dress I thought I would like the least. The ladies commented that if they had a pound for every time they heard that! I don't want to give it all away but I wanted to explain that last bit because I thought it was just so stress free and completely took the anxiety of being faced with so many dresses away. The sales advisor clearly knew each individual dress so only pulled out dresses she knew I would like. It was just a really professional and fun experience. I just want to say thank you to Isabella Grace for making the experience so special and a day I wont forget, I just cant wait to put my dress on again!

They need about four months to put a dress and a look together, and they really do do everything. When I was last in there, one of the members of staff was sitting quietly sewing a fascinator - those things that are a cross between a hat and a complicated hair ornament. They have a beautifully produced A4 booklet that enables you to take home the look, which also has quite a bit of help with wedding etiquette and so on. This was the last shop I went to after choosing my dream dress (thought I would honour the appointment anyway just in case) and whilst I didn't find a rival to that I looked at many very stunning dresses that may well have been "the one" if I had seen them earlier in my search. There were some amazing vintage styles including a tiered dress and some lovely art deco style. I don't know why this has 4 £ by it as I would say the prices are moderate for wedding dresses: price range was from £900-1800 with the majority being £900-1300. I would recommend Maggie Sottero as a designer that does stunning lace dresses that are far cheaper than they look, a lot of these are stocked here. It was a bit of a trip for me to get there but I would recommend it, I am very glad I visited this shop in my search.
