My daughter visited here, on my recommendation, prior to her wedding last year and was given every courtesy. Unfortunately due to unforeseen financial difficulties that she and her partner had, she was unable to use this company's highly impressive services. She was however, extremely impressed with the kindness and understanding from the staff. She found the quality of dresses so very high, which I wholeheartedly agree with. Big thankyou. Not only did I find the staff to be lazy, rude and completely unapproachable, but it was also clear that they had no knowledge of their own stock! The dresses had multiple labels on them and no one seemed to know which was right, they didn't know the prices and they were unable to give me any indication of how much alterations would be. I also got the distinct impression that they were planning to make extra money from me at the alteration stage as despite the sample dress being a perfect fit they claimed they would have to order it in a bigger size in case I put on weight. I was specifically after a tea length dress and at no point did anyone attempt to hold up the dresses so I could get an idea of how it would look tea length. In fact every time I mentioned that I wanted a tea length dress the assistant tutted and said 'well I don't see why you would want to cut up a dress, I wouldn't do it'. The finally straw for me was when I was unable to try on the dress I had originally gone to see as another bride, there at the same time, was already trying it. Eventually she left and I was able to try the dress, but the moment had been completely ruined by seeing another bride (with a completely different figure and style) in it only moments before. I left feeling very disappointed and unvalued as a potential customer. Suffice to say I shall not be purchasing my gown from WM and I shall not be recommending them to anyone in the future. read more

This shop is brilliant. I went there with a friend of mine who's getting married and a couple of others - we were all given small same coloured plastic hoops to pop round the top of any dresses we liked the look of. Then when we've all used up out hoops they collect all the dresses together for the bride-to-be to try on. This is so simple yet so effective and meant we could all help pick dresses for her to try. They have sofas and fans so being one of the non-brides was nice too! read more

I visited white Mischief and can only describe the experience as wonderful, and I truly felt treated. I found the most wonderful designer gown which I am delighted with. I found all staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I love the way you are not looked down at, like has happended at other designer gown stockists. I am not getting married until next year and look forward to returning to this boutique to arrange veils etc and outfits for my bridesmaids and flower girls. Thank you x read more

Found my dream wedding dress from Augusta Jones there last week! Thanks to the perfect advice of Andrea. I gave her my top three list of favourites and she suggested a 4th one: the perfect dress at first sight: I'm absolutely delighted. I visited this store today and bought my dress from them. I was extremely impressed with the website, the range of dresses instore and the excellent service provided. The lady who served me was very professional and knew exactly how to help me when I was unsure of anything. I would definately recommend this store to anybody wedding dress shopping. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! AFter having visited several other bridal shops ranging from bad to very mediocre my visit to White Mischief was an ABSOLUTE JOY! The choice of dresses was fabulous & the staff were just great - nothing was too much trouble for them. I had in fact been recommended to go there by a friend but my mother wanted us to try a few other shops as well to compare. We both now wish we hadn't bothered - I should ljust have gone straight there - the service we received was second to none and i decided on THE dress of my dreams on my second visit. I have called in again on a couple of occasions for accessories & bridesmaids dresses and each time, even though I haven't always seen the same sales person, the staff have been great - really friendly, very helpful & always professional. I'm now getting very excited as my dress is due in soon & I can't wait to go for my fitting - it now feels like I will going to see friends when i visit the shop. I really can't understand how the other bride to write a review about this shop had a such a bad experience. My expereince at White Mischief has been fabulous and I have now recommended another 2 friends who have just got engaged to go there without bothering to look around first as i did and wasting time.
