I have had to see his nurse instead of him once but that is okay, most usually they allow you more time and attention that the physician himself can. So grateful I found this one. The day we needed to go I called 3 other clinics and visited 2 that were either closed or didn't accept our insurance. BreezeMed Was the last one I called expecting to get the same response as before. I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and professional the person was in the other line. In fact I thanked her for being so friendly. When we arrived yet again we were welcomed with warm friendliness. The office was new, clean and tastefully decorated. We didn't encounter any wait, were ushered into the exam room and the physician tended to us almost immediately. She was warm, super friendly, knowledgeable and made my daughter feel at ease. She didn't rush us and explained everything thoroughly. 10 out of 10. I just hope they continue to accept our insurance as this will be our go to walk-in clinic.

Last Tuesday I had my annual checkup scheduled for 11am. Shortly after 11am I was called back to get my blood pressure and weight taken. I was then placed in a second waiting area for another twenty minutes or so--thankfully there was another woman sitting there I could talk to. Eventually I was led into my room. And then I was left there. For at least another 25 minutes. I don't know about everyone else, but when someone is over an hour late for a scheduled appointment, I get irritated. And what really irked me was the fact that Dr. Digiorgi wasn't even apologetic when she came in. She simply retorted that I should always expect a gynecologist appointment to take a minimum of two to three hours out of my day. Seriously? That's absurd! She's not a cable company--unless she'd prefer to be compared to Comcast, which I will gladly do. Well excuse me, but her time is not more valuable than mine. I'm sure if I were late to my appointment, they would make me reschedule. Whatever happened to doctors being respectful of other people's time? Is it just in Florida? When I lived in the Arlington, VA area this rarely (if ever) happened. If someone is running well over an hour behind, the office should be notifying patients when they sign in. Guess who had to miss a meeting due to the lackadaisical actions of her gynecologist? Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Dr. Digiorgi's office.

My appointment with nurse practitioner Heidi Alexander was one of the worst medical experiences I…read morehave had. She began by saying, "I've read your notes." I explained that speaking was very painful after a recent jaw procedure and asked to communicate in writing instead through a write to voice app on my phone. She said, "No, you have to speak because I'm using AI." My request to use written communication was refused to accommodate her AI note-taking system. I was never asked for consent to its use, but her clinical notes said I had consented. She also told me, "We don't treat pain here," and offered no treatment whatsoever for my pain. Although I had not requested pain medication, I felt that the clinical notes she wrote portrayed me as seeking controlled medication rather than seeking help. As someone who has worked in hospitals and written and read clinical notes, this happens all the time and is extremely problematic. I sent several emails immediately afterward to report the refusal to accommodate written communication (which is actually illegal under ADA law) and the lack of consent given for AI use. I was subsequently told there was "no evidence this happened" and they denied to respond to my specific grievance in any meaningful way (except for a trite email saying "we agree that we need better training about the consent for AI use in appointments") I left feeling dismissed and unheard. Based on both the appointment and the handling of my complaint, I would not recommend this practice.

I was left at the door by the medical assistant who ignored my request for help, which left me feeling dizzy and vulnerable due to my health conditions. She was very rude turning her back on me when I was speaking and then walking away. I was left at the door not knowing what to do. The doctor wrongly accused me of rudeness without seeking my side of the story, instead choosing to berate me for something I did not do. I was not rude to anyone. Despite my attempts to communicate my needs, the medical staff showed no concern for my well-being, treating me as less important than themselves. The doctor ridiculed and belittled me in a fit of anger unable to control himself. I was unable to discuss some of the heart issues concerning me. This experience has led to a profound fear of healthcare, as the doctor's angry outburst and unfounded accusations caused me psychological harm. When going for care I never anticipated to be an mistreated. I feel betrayed by a system I once respected. In my opinion the doctor violated his duty to care for an elderly disabled person like me. They should all be ashamed of themselves. I needed mercy but they had none.
