I have booked directly 6 sessions laser package for the full legs at the Sultan Hair & Beauty…read moreClinic which I paid upfront in total. Today (29th April) I went there for my final session which didn't happen because I was asked by the manager to pay 50£ extra for it otherwise the beautician wouldn't touch me. The beautician I met today was different from the one I had all the other treatments with and she found a paper note saying that I missed an appointment on the 15th April, that was a mistake as I never had an appointment on that day. I showed the manager all the texts with the appointment reminder to prove I never had an appointment on that date and that my schedule must have been mistaken with someone else and despite obvious evidence the manager asked me to pay initially 50£ extra and then he lowered it to 30£, however that was just an excuse to get more money out of me because of a mistake they made at their end. As I didn't want to pay the additional fee I was forced to leave the clinic without my last treatment completed. I strongly discourage you from booking anything with this clinic as they are too full of themselves to admit their mistakes and look for excuses to gain more money from customers instead of fulfil their agreement as a business.

Not sure if this place has always been at this location in Canary Wharf but when some of the staff…read morecame around with complimentary Aqua Vibe vouchers where I work, I thought, sure I'll give it a go. The Aqua Vibe treatment is, at it's core, a water bed massage of lights and sound. The theories of the centre are holistic so those who are heavily into yoga and reiki - this will be up your street. Back to my experience. When I got there, I was feeling fine, just bit fatigued. Got an explanation by the two lovely staff members/practitioners and hopped on the water bed. Ear phones and light show eyewear on, I was ready, err... Well the lights were so bright it was like looking into the sun even though my eyes were closed. A quick adjustment and restart of my 20min session. Can I say I achieved some kind of enlightenment? No. Can I say the light show was probably what one experiences on magic mushrooms? Probably. What I can say certainly is, that I did feel different after; kind of happier but this was short lived and likely down to the suggestive consultation. The venue is clean, crisp and very holistic with candles and soft aromas. You feel a bit clinical but calm at the same time in there. They offer other services along the lines of diet, stress management, energy patterning (whatever that is) and massages. I'm giving it 3 stars because it was my first time which was a freebie mind trip.

Now I am aware that this place is a tad more expensive than perhaps going to the salons in Nunhead, Tulse Hill. West Norwood etc but for the service, quality and cleanliness, it is totally worth the price.

Charissa is extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and great with treatment- I nearly fell asleep in the chair at one point I was so relaxed. I'm new to skin care regimens/microdermabrasion and am happy with my first try- 2 days later, my skin looks noticeably clearer and tighter. Highly recommend this spot and Charissa, I'll definitely be going back!

The decor was simple but clean, and I had a basic hot stone massage, with *firm* strokes, which is my preference. I do like it when a masseuse asks my input on where I'd like more focus, which didn't happen here, but maybe that's a cultural thing. I definitely got the vibe that this is more of a Eastern European type of salon, so when in Rome, I took off my clothes, er, etc! And I definitely left feeling lighter in the instep :))
