Essie was a lovely person to talk to and I enjoyed her prompt response. I was happy with how my…read morecarpet turned out, but disappointed in the rest of my house. I had just purchased a house. It was completely empty. Due to not needing to move furniture I would have expected this job to have been easier and all parts of my home flawless, given the price I paid. There was still dust on my blinds and counters and floors were not thoroughly cleaned. The toilets did sparkle and the house smelled clean, but other than that I was underwhelmed with the cleaning job. I paid for the move in cleaning service with an additional carpet clean. The service was $450 dollars, which was not cheap. I do admit there are several hard to reach places in my home; I wish during the estimate I was told these wouldn't be able to be cleaned and that I could have paid a lower price. I'd like to once again bring up that she did tell me if I was unhappy to tell her. I appreciated that comment, but I'm the type of person who wants something to be right the first time and not the second. I would use their carpet cleaning services, but not their house cleaning services again.

I was…read moretexting with a live person which is what made me eventually decide to go with them over the other services that reached out. I want to address the -1 star immediately, this is due to price alone. In Miami, I booked a Move-out Clean and it was $315 - they were amazing and the home was about 1,700 SqFt (3 BR 2.5 Bth) - Move Outs cleans are ROUGH for sure. Here I booked a Move-in Clean, mostly for construction clean up and it was $370 for a 1,017 SqFt (2 BR 2 Bth) IMO the work was way lighter and I was quite shocked but they did do a great job. Some of the cleaners left steaks on the bathroom floors which easily show footprints but other than that I think the house looks amazing, I am still just getting over the sticker shock I guess.- I do apologize for the -1 star but I can't seem to get over the huge price difference for the home size and work required. The Cleaning Maids were Phenomenal - clear, concise communication, got in and out - sent me photos, and payment was a breeze - I would definitely use them again however, I think I would be shopping around first - again this is solely due to the pricing of services but maybe this is a higher-priced area...for cleaning..... I'm not sure so I can't say for certain.

#1 FIREPLACE INSTALLER & TROUBLESHOOTER FOR THE ENTIRE PENSACOLA AREA !!!!!…read more If you're looking to have a fireplace installed, cleaned, or maintained I wouldn't go with anyone else, further more if I was looking for any service also provided by them they'd be the first company I called. After using and calling around to all Fireplace companies in the Pensacola area I found Doodlebuggers, when trying to convert my wood burning fireplace into a gas fireplace (gas line already installed). I first was directed to Amanda, WHO IS AMAZING, she handles and coordinates the project. Brain and another tech came to my house, did a thorough inspection, even catching that a previous company broke building code by replacing broken old ceramic plates with metal plates. The price for two ceramic plates, fire log set, burner, and installation came to roughly $2200, which is great pricing. Only thing I didn't have them do is paint the plates, just due to the man hours that go into which drives up the price. Also, their schedule is a little further out than most but it's worth the wait, if you want it done right. Two things to note, they are the only company I found that actually installs gas burner systems! I was shocked by this when several others claim to be experts in this field?! Also, don't be deterred by them having fewer stars some companies are grouped together and don't reflect just their shop, but the entire region. For example the one that broken building code, eventually admitting to it, had 350 reviews with a 4.9 rating and I'll never use them again.

But I have also used them recently for personal handling of my recent home purchase and move and had a great experience from start to finsih. First they handled my move-in clean for my new home, and walking into a clean house before unpacking made such a difference. The house looked (and smelled) great and helped make a stressful process feel a little more manageable. After that, they helped with the actual move and later with removal of materials after a fence build. Through every step, they worked hard, were respectful of my home and belongings, and were willing to help wherever needed. You can tell they care about doing great work and make sure the customer is taken care of. I really appreciate everything they did to help make a chaotic season go more smoothly. Absolutely recommend!
