Numerous sports offerings. So many other extracurricular activities are available to students from arts to science, coding, gaming, writing, social awareness activities, music, etc. etc. Teachers are the best of any school I have experienced and are very supportive. They are available & accessible for extra help. The college counseling, study skills & tutoring help if needed has been wonderful. The atmosphere is always active and the school emphasizes community service. The campus is beautiful. Students have been excellent. Administration has been wonderful to deal with as well. The teachers and assistants at the school are superb. In as little as two weeks, my preschooler's vocabulary has improved tenfold and he is now completely engaged in learning. It is apparent that the teachers here give a lot of thought to and take great pride in creating their lesson plans. As for my toddler, the individualized attention he receives here has greatly improved his cognitive and fine motor skills. Each day, parents receive a report that includes daily activities such as personal care (meals, naps, etc.), curriculum, and photos. This is very special for parents as it keeps us completely connected during the work day. Administratively, the school is run flawlessly. The Directors are professional, courteous and responsive to the needs of the children and concerns of parents. My only wish is that The Goddard School went beyond Pre-K! Thank you Goddard School for taking such wonderful care of my children!

The level of care, compassion, individualized attention and age appropriate curriculum at Goddard Monroe is truly impressive and so appreciated by our family. We came to Goddard from another highly regarded center nearby, and I am so grateful we did. It's apparent to me that the teachers like what they are doing, and that transfers to how they interact with the kids. Both of our boys grew more fond of and attached to their teachers at Goddard in 2 weeks than they did in the previous year at their old school. The daily updates, pictures and reports are a nice way to feel connected to the kids during the day. It gives us great info to be able to engage our kids in conversation about their day. Along with the teachers, the Directors are amazing as well. They are accessible and have truly taken the time to get to know the kids. They also have their own kids in the program, which speaks volumes. Overall, I cannot recommend Goddard enough and we are so grateful to have found such amazing people to care for our children.

Priscilla is the same in her compassion and knowledge. They are two wonderful women who allow this beautiful place to flourish with incredible art lovers from all walks of life. Members come from all over Fairfield county and beyond - I'm lucky it is in my town. Teaching pottery is difficult because everyone progresses differently and the instructors here do an amazing job or balancing the individual handholding and maintaining order of the class. While I work on my pieces, I get to observe some of the instructors whether they teach a group class or a private tutoring class. To share a few shoutouts: Safiya is fantastic with teens in boot camps - (I just learned that she is starting to teach Friday evening classes!) Julie also is a caring and competent teacher. Cass is an outstanding instructor with a wealth of knowledge; and Kate is such a sweetie, too! All Everyone is here because we love the joy of creativity and respect each other's artistic abilities. I enjoy conversations that accompany creating art across diverse age/gender/backgrounds here. There's something for everyone. Whether you are a tired parent looking for a mental health respite, an exhausted soul looking to enrich your artistic side, or to glimpse wonders in your own creation in general, I would recommend that you pay a visit and talk to the owners what you would like to do. Anne-Marie was awesome and I quickly picked up the skills needed to work independently. After taking three sessions, it was deemed that I was capable enough to work on my own and I became a member. Since then, I've enjoyed my growth as a ceramicist as well as enjoying the community beside me! All the other members are super friendly and helpful when they can be.
