Christianne e Manuel Restaurant is a Michelin star Italian restaurant owned and operated by the Costardi brothers. The brothers who have deep roots in the Piedmont region of Italy earned a Michelin star for their risotto; as well as their delicious fine dining cuisine. Their restaurant is located in their family hotel (Hotel Cinzia) in Vercelli, Piedmont, the rice Capital of Italy and the epi center of rice production for the entire European Continent. Guests have a choice of a three or seven course tasting menu of entries selected by the Chef or can choose ala carte. For the less adventuresome and particular diner, I recommend the ala carte menu with entries prepared in a more traditional manner. If you choose the tasting menu, you must be prepared to step outside your comfort zone and experience flavors and methods of preparation that are unique and different and at times challenge what we are accustomed to. We had the seven course tasting menu paired with two bottles of Gaja, a white and a red. Some of the dishes were exquisite, and some were a bridge too far. Highly recommended.
