Herb knew what questions to ask me to find out what I was thinking about my needs. He's interested in what I think instead of being all about my feelings, like many counselors do. He was also careful to ask me what I thought the Bible said about the topic of my needs. He then, reinforced what I was thinking and what I know to be true instead of giving me only his opinion.
