Every dish is sourced from a combination of Italian and Danish providers, made and plated with care, and served with an explanation radiating pride in true craftsmanship. The antipasti, primi, and secondi, individually, were enough to earn this restaurant five stars. Together, each succeeding dish compounded our delight. And the dessert? I will probably never eat another flan as good as theirs. I know what you're thinking: "I came all the way to Copenhagen. Why would I choose an Italian restaurant?" Hey, good food is good food. Rufina Osteria offers the very best.

It was open late go Copenhagen and we got friendly service quickly. A small group all had pasta and a tasty wine. They brought bread and olive oil which is my favorite and I wish we would have had more but then im avoiding lots of bread! The portion was nice. It's not very big, so if it's busy, seating may take a while. They spoke Danish, English and Spanish! In short it was good and tasted home made!

Yelp already wrote the first line of the review for me…read more "Hmm...I have tried something better, elsewhere...." Then again, I didn't have much expectation when it comes to thai take away. I somehow believe the magical of Thai cuisine can only be enjoyed properly when served and shared over the table with friends and family. Fast food Thai? Then you have simply lost the golden touch. We ordered massaman curry and and phat kee mao that has a chilli mark on the side. While the curry has nice flavour to it, it was far too watery and the content of the curry was just shredded carrots, cashews and yes, the cubed tofu that was the main ingredient I chose. Not much to get excited about. The Phat Kee Mao was supposed to be spicy, but even my boyfriend who was sensitive to spicy food (although he is slowly trained to appreciate chili) was wondering about the chili sign on the menu. Again, overall flavour was nice, but it needed an extra kick to be called as Thai version of fried noodles. What gives two stars instead of one is that they cooked their food pretty fast, with the wok action and all, and that they were very friendly as well as the price. I, on the other hand, would continue the hunt over good Thai take away

Early signs of autumn foul weather made us crave a warm, healthy and tasty lunch. Being two undergrads, it also needed to be affordable. On this day, at lunch time peak hour, it was busy but still cosy and possible to have a conversation. For my second visit, I recommended this place to my other peer. We were in a rush but wasn't willing to compromise on the meal quality. I knew from the first visit that this place serves quick, affordable and healthy warm lunches and it was near the place we were rushing to, so it was a perfect option. On this day, we arrived just prior to the lunch time peak hour, so we had the place to ourselves which definitely eased facilitating our only 35 min. visit (entrance to exit). During both visits I thought I experienced some language differences when making the order, or maybe it was all due to my semi-impaired hearing. However, it didn't have any major influence on getting the order across as the meals on the menu are presented in the form of numbers and in Danish and English. I do agree, with some of the other reviews, that the flavour intensity isn't overwhelming which comes down to a personal preference. You could probably have a stronger flavoured option on the plentiful menu. Remember, I've only tried two. All in all, a very nice, convenient and small place if you're after a hot healthy and affordable lunch. I am thankful for places like this and will probably go there again when I have my way pass.

Tried everything on the menu, which was recently updated in 2020 with in-season fruits and vegetables, several new items, and clever recipe changes. The bread with sunflower praline and apple hot sauce was a pleasant starter. The tapioca cracker, tuna with salsa is phenomenal. Try the ceviche for a tangy delight different than what you'll get elsewhere. The smoky cauliflower comes with an amazing mole reduction. Gem salad was simple, yet tasty, with local cheese and a bit of seaweed. The gambas (shrimp) are presented well, and flavorful but small (not much meat). This is made up for with the excellent grilled redfish Tikin-Xic, make-it-yourself tacos, with red salsa, refried beans, coriander, lime and homemade tortillas. Several dishes were moderately, and thankfully, spicy. Enough to fill you up or a light meal if you get a few. Dessert is a perfect balance between rich, velvety Grenache and ultra-fluffy, sweet guava sorbet on a crispy waffle biscuit. Decent beer and wine selection. I tried the 2016 Ritual Pinot Noir from Chile, but there is also a wine pairing that I will try next time to complete the experience. Staff is professional and friendly. Ambiance is young, inviting and simple. Place was busy (on a Wednesday) and rather small, so I was fortunate to get a spot at the bar as a walk-in. I recommend getting no before they decide to increase prices and you need weeks or months for a reservation. Kudos!

Honestly, it's just your typical coffee and sandwich stop shop. They are not coffee artists by any stretch of the imagination - but their location (en route to my office from the metro) and the fact that they provide caffeine to go (sometimes adding extra shots for free if I look particularly frazzled), makes them my favorite place in the whole of Copenhagen between the hours of 8-10am, Monday through Friday. They offer discounts for several of the business people in the area, which means I get a two kroner discount on my yogurt when I'm too lazy to make the exact same thing for myself at home for one quarter of the price. The less than two minutes I spend in here every morning waiting for them to make my coffee (an order they have memorized, by the way), is also the only opportunity I have to watch the Danish morning news programs, and while I never stick around to get the full story, I've seen less than two minutes of lots of interesting stuff, many times, without having to pay any cable bills. #winning

Located near old town Christiana, two Michelin star restaurant Kadeau Copenhagen is an offshoot of an original location in Bornholm. Much of the food and produce for this menu still comes from Bornholm, grounding the New Nordic, seafood-focused menu in a sense of place. I typically prefer an evening reservation, but lunch is what fit into my schedule on this day and I can't imagine a more perfect timing to see the ethereal, artistic dining room in the natural sunlight. The dining room reminded me a bit of being inside Musée de l'Orangerie's Waterlilies exhibit: it's a truly meditative setup. The service from start to finish is truly unreal, and rivals three star restaurants I have been to. Every small touch is made for you to enjoy your experience. Shout out to one of the chefs who tipped off the other restaurant I was dining at on the same day, who greeted me and asked me about my experience at Kadeau when I arrived there. I came for the start of Growing Season in May 2025. For this meal, I chose the non-alcoholic pairing, which I could not possibly recommend enough. It was hands down, the most perfect flavor pairing for the food I have ever had and each new drink was more inventive and fun than the last. The sourcing from Bornholm really played well here, as a lot of similar ingredients from a dish became part of the drink (lot of plum notes when I went). I think my favorites were the Japanese Quince, Hemp, and Honey (which had just a light effervescence) or the Apple and Unfiltered Bee Pollen drink. But honestly, I would go and do this meal all over again for the unreal drink pairing alone. I do a lot of fine dining and always enjoy my meals, but Kadeau was one of the first meals where I felt like I did not have a single bad or even middling bite out of the 15 courses. I have dietary restrictions (no red meat), but few dishes really required substitution. Each new dish was light, flavorful, nuanced, and so so delicious. The shrimps tart with quince and ants was a bit more adventurous than what I normally go for, but ended up being one of my favorite bites. The hot and cold smoked salmon was a dish I'll remember forever and I loved hearing that the chef moved from Las Vegas to Copenhagen just to learn how to make that dish. The plum "soft serve" with plum oil, vinegar, schnapps/ caramel, was such a great example of how inventive they could be with truly all of the elements that build flavor. It was a once in a lifetime meal. This is certainly an expensive meal, but in a city with a lot of tasty meals to choose from, Kadeau is one to truly remember.

A foodie friend, who travels the world just to eat at Michelin restaurants, told me he enjoyed his experience here better than Noma. The chefs all seemed so calm & professional, and the servers were outstanding. The set menu was incredible, and my husband did the wine pairing, which he really enjoyed. A lot of spectacular seafood. Stunning presentations and incredible attention to detail. Besides the food being unbelievable, it was such a fun experience!! We had a lot of questions, and our servers couldn't have been nicer! They brought out ingredients that we were unfamiliar with, so we could see them. They let us taste a fresh herb (not exciting) and then the dried version (amazing!) When we left, everyone was waiting for us and we got a wonderful photo. We will never forget this spectacular meal!
